What film did you watch last night?

Sinners https://www.imdb.com/title/tt31193180/

I found the early part of it to be a little slow, but I'm glad I saw it through.
An interesting creative style and change of direction, especially once things get going.

He doesn't appear in it until later on, but I didn't realise Jack O'Connell was in the movie.
Always a welcome addition when he's in something.

Well worth seeing if you like supernatural/horror films.

It was very good back in its day, especially on the first watch.
I think its stand out feature was the music and a few of the cast, the plot was nothing special.
My favourite bit is when the mother goes to head vampire house and thorn, the dog, chases her and she runs screaming down the path, and then the thorn starts tearing at her dress when she's desperately trying to clamber over the gate.

Never fails to properly make me laugh out loud for ages. Lol!

I just adore the film as it's so funny!

I actually have saved and listen to some of it most days!

The Roses. Good cast, some funny moments but overall kind of stupid. It felt like one of the side characters didn't actually get a script and just improvised everything, which was about as funny as you'd expect.

Like the majority of Stephen King stuff then. With the exception of shawshank, always amazed he wrote that, it seems so far away from everything else he has done.
There is a decent few films based on his works that i repeat view.

The Shining
1408
The Green Mile
Misery
Stand By Me
Carrie

Even Lawnmower man, which is a guilty pleasure of mine.
