My GT's isn't and does my ******* head in when I set off and see it still open .....

I don't mind the electrical flaps, no issues on my Q8. I love it has charging ports on both sides.
Yeah the two flaps is great
Interestingly the charging flap is manually operated by pushing it. The fuel filler is released in the cabin. But it was the charging flap that refused to open.
Can’t be opened any other way so had to wait a week for the dealer to have time to fix it.

Wow, that interior is rough. The bezel on the instrument cluster screen is unforgivable. Gloss black plastic all over the place. I genuinely think Audi interiors peaked in 2017-2019.
The grill is an absolute mess.

I'm trying to find out why remote unlock sometimes seems unresponsive to unlock button on both fobs - have also swapped battery to one from a tv remote that is much newer,
but not yet bought brand new 2032's;
lock button can need a couple of presses too, but maybe I am sometimes too close to the car and it thinks keys could be inside car.
Does the touch pad on the wheel have any control capabilities for carplay / AA ?

I don’t think so. I’ve only ever seen it work for the inbuilt nav.

100% agree. Had a fiddle in one on Monday when my Q7 went in for service (I swear my M2 is cheaper to service but that's another conversation) and it's so stupid.New Q3

I also hate the new square wheel with the tacky badge, and the tacky exterior Audi badge as well. Also, the steering wheel buttons can get in the bin, as can the whole plastic window switch panel. WHY????
Late 2010s Audi is clearly peak interior.

Can confirm. They all have. And if you don't spec the passenger display, you just get a blank 'screen'. Not even a normal dash like with MB without the 'hyperscreen'
Like with BMW, I don't understand the ******* high-gloss black plastic. Fingerprint and scratch magnet. And it looks ****. Boggles the mind

forgot - the other new audi's a bit more bauhaus / nice, think you'd have to see how the materials&mechanicals feel.
centre touch screen is stylish , the cavity/slot for the instruments must have some functional explanation like shadows or related to HUD (no polarisation issue ?)
e: V from the side it looks fine - from the front in flesh I think the grill will look less high - it's the proportion between it and the overall low height of the car that the camera doesn't like.
