No reason why it cant last that long, Hunt Showdown has been going for 7 years (and is a paid game and has a store) and Tarkov has been going for 8 years, both of which are pvpve extraction games. Arc Raiders is imo better than both of those, and imo actually has better balance than both of those, so if they can last 8 years (so far) theres no reason Arc Raiders cant go 10. As I've said before, I will happily take on a £100 bet with anyone on the forum that Arc Raiders wont be dead in a year (based on the performance so far of Hunt and Tarkov), but as yet nobody has been willing to take up that bet. I honestly think the non-pvpers underestimate how popular the pvp is in the pvpve genre within the pvp userbase, as much as not everyone wants just pvp, its also the case that not everyone wants just pve either. The devs did say the other day that they will ensure that solo players are only up against other solo players, so thats one tweak from the server slam (although I personally never encountered a group while soloing) , however even then sometimes a person will still be playing for 30mins and then get beaten by a better player or an unfortunate piece of timing (like they were already low on health) and die, theres nothing that can be done in regard of that, thats just the nature of pvp.
