I'd argue most helmets have cutouts that don't require the lining to be removed. My last three helmets have all just had very large cutouts for your ears, leaving plenty room for my Cardo speakers.
When I say removed, I just mean pulled out but not actually removed.

Not sure on other brands but I only use Shoei and that’s how it’s always been.

"Nah I'm just gonna pop in and see if that lid that LowEnd recommended fits, so I can order one online"

"Ok I'll have the lid, a Sena 60S and a pair of Revit Sand 5s please"

I'm a lost cause aren't I :(
You, sir, are an enthusiast. Embrace it. You do ride a scooter though, and for that I have no respect for you. :D

@Diddums
Waiting for this.

Have you tried the Sena yet? I really want one that goes super mega loud so I can hear it through me lug-plugs!

Screaming Tangerine collected - 173 HP at the wheel 197 at the crank. That'll do. Top speed limiter removed, few other bits and bobs done as well, and AFR bang on throughout the throttle/rev range. That'll do nicely! Couldn't give it the berries on the way home though, it was way too damp. Felt nice though - the little hesitation she had low down is gone. Hopefully a better/more spirited ride tomorrow will reveal a bit more!

Done most of the Moman H4c, issue is placement of the unit, it gets in way of the visor slider, if I push it back enough so it doesn't get in the way camera is pointing at 10ish o clock . Since the unit is flat not curved unsure how you'd use the velcro to the side . Also difficult to place velcro for the mic whilst i'm wearing the helmet.

Getting mate to help

Shirly this can't be right?

Unit sticks out it looks stupid, I can't see the bracket fits inside two screws through the helmet, if I push it forward it'll get in the way of the visor slider, and being it's flat velco/sticky pads won't hold

Unless I take apart the bracket, use the angled bit with double sided pad and attached to the removed cover of the helmet?

Doesn’t look right no, what’s the model of the headset?

If it has a bracket like a GoPro - scrape the sticky pad off and use Sugru to make your own attachment between the lid and mount

Got out for our second practice session yesterday. Slowly building up our daughters confidence on the bike, we started to add in some skills practice. Total time on the bike before this session was just about an hour, and this session was another 1.5 hours.

Total time on the bike 2.5hours, so about 2/3rds of a morning session of a CBT.

The focus so far has been about bike control, we will be adding in the mirror, signal, life saver elements as the confidence builds.

Some clips from yesterday.
