face recognition etc

On topic I do see potential for there to be issues with using this tech alone. As supporting evidence though, fair.

you're making yourself look silly now. ignore SGF, he seems to like engaging with you, probably because he thinks it makes him feel superior but you aren't helping yourself when you post 1 liner nonsense like this.
Its actually online bullying at this point but i will not complain and i will just stop replying to him.

Are you telling me that i wouldnt get banned from the forums though if i went into his topics all time and said. Hows that covid going for you and changing subjects?.

You have my full permission to change topics in my threads, I really don't give a toss.
However, please keep to the facts and explain yourself properly.
However my threads are usually boring, they are usually asking for advice or spec me something so spec'ing a toaster when I want a new car tyre would be daft..
Sometimes I may drop an headline and ask for other people's thoughts so you could have your say but turn it into a conspiracy theory and I'll have a go back.
Enjoy.

IIRC after one of the recent attempts to use it in london it turned out to have a false positive rate somewhere around 10% or more on average with a higher number affecting certain groups. That is for the latest version of the software and hardware.
From Sept 2024 to Sept 2025 the false alert rate was 0.0003% across 203 LFR deployments by MPS:

There has just been a 5 minute story about this on the BBC National News.
One woman had been put on Facewatch who shouldn't have been, it was sorted.
