I'm really looking forward to buying this on blu-ray coz it sounds awesome based on all your reviews!!
It was more exorcist than mummy. The Mummy 2026
Not bad at all, didn't know about it and thought it was going to be a ripoff of the old Mummy films, pleasantly surprised.
Compared to the other rubbish knocking around at the moment a decent 8/10
I turned it off within 30 minutes. Different actors may have kept my attention better.Jack Ryan: Ghost War - 6.5/10
Nothing spectacular, but a reasonable watch. You have to just accept a few things that happen, but entertaining enough.
That was my impression too, it was an ok horror film but its link to The Mummy was pretty tenuous , frankly throughout it felt more like they wanted to do a reboot of The Exorcist but werent allowed the license so use The Mummy name instead but basically made the Exorcist film they wanted to make anywayIt was more exorcist than mummy.
It's a 5/10 I expected more & didn't get it.
Thats 1963, 1965 and 1966 covered then , got to move to 1968 and Once Upon A Time In The West and the iconic harmonica next surely !For a Few Dollars More (1965) 8.5/10 and The Good the Bad and the Ugly (1966) 7/10
A couple more westerns, wrapping up the original Sergio Leone legacy.
Watching these again, I enjoyed both, but out of the trilogy, For a Few Dollars More is my favourite. Lee Van Cleef and Clint Eastwood with great on screen chemistry and just pure coolness. The story, a proper revenge tale, has a brilliant main protagonist Gian Maria Volonté (sadly missing in the Good, the Bad), and to top it off, the haunting pocket watch music.
As for The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, what's immediately obvious, the much bigger budget, which given the film popularity at the time, is no surprise, but on rewatch, it felt a bit drawn out, with a couple of scenes going on a bit. Still, there are some moments, for me, its the war graves cemetery scene when the score kicks in, but overall, For a Few Dollars More is the one I would pick from the three.

Nice one, I was wondering what to watch next, I've never seen Once Upon A Time In The West!Thats 1963, 1965 and 1966 covered then , got to move to 1968 and Once Upon A Time In The West and the iconic harmonica next surely !![]()

I’ve got these two to watch too. Picked up the 4K trilogy that Arrow released and I received it a month early for some reason and only just getting round to it! They’ve done a really good job on Fistful, so will be good to see these twoFor a Few Dollars More (1965) 8.5/10 and The Good the Bad and the Ugly (1966) 7/10
