It's over saturated now, I used to look forward to UFC events due to their infrequent nature which resulted in each card feeling like a spectacle given the time to hype and build it up.

Now I find it hard to fully keep up, and in turn care less.

Not even vaguely excited for "Freedom 250" or Conor's return - take me back to the 2010 - 2016 era!

Much the same for me, I got in to it in depth a page or two back in this thread.

The Trump fellatio is a massive turn off…will not be watching the White House circus. Ain’t no chance I’m PPVing UFC.

Also yes, there’s so much on now that just watching the highlights on YouTube is enough of a time commitment for me!
 
Saw some highlights of that Geordie Shore lad up against Darren Till. Fair play to him, Till was a legit contender in the UFC not too long ago. Takes some serious balls to get into the ring with him.
 
Daniel Cormier's Twitter account actually posted this before deleting it a few seconds later. It's been confirmed as a legit tweet by a few people in the MMA media now.

Very odd that he would post such a thing (even if it was true) given it's basically Trumps event and he's part of the commentary team.

Cormier is a proper company man, so I'm actually leaning more towards him being hacked. That said I absolutely can imagine Eric Trump being this stupid.

Me too. It's odd for Cormier to post it though and risk damage to himself but then again, there's very little mud sticks to that lot. Keep flooding the zone and keep pushing the news cycle forward and everyone forgets. Like everything else they do, what we think is a terrible or shocking thing they do is likely not even in the top ten worst things they've done that day so just gets washed away like every other crime they commit.

Anyway, UFC is usually Sunday afternoon Australia time but this was Monday so I didn't watch the fights. Seems like there were some belters though, all stoppages. Should have taken the day off and sat in the pub all day :cool:

Conor thinking, opening up the fight with a wild kick like that? Honestly it's ridiculous and he deserves every ounce of shame for that awful decision. All he had to do in the first round was keep it together and show his hands. He is an embarassment.

Unbelievable.
