Showing as £169 for me. Unless I got the wrong company.

just checking in, are M.2 SSD prices still 3x the price? originally bought a Samsung 1TB 990 Pro for £70. With games getting BIG that storage space is getting tighter and tighter. Maybe i could sell it at a profit?

What this situation has done is to make me more wary of just having cheap SSD storage that was capable of holding what I basically wanted.
Our media is still on a DAS with mechanical drives.
But I no longer have so many games installed from Steam etc as I once did, saving on a drive or two.
Especially with a !Gb internet connection to download them with.

I think I'll be forced to use a drive with no dram. Or remove the SN850X from my PS5 and use that.
i wouldn't pay extra for a dram cache nowadays. for the vast majority of users ther wouldn't be any appreciable benefits
it's not 2025 where the cost difference was negligible and that extra tenner or so was a drop in the ocean

Overclockers seem to be the cheapest at the moment at £149.99 for that drive it was probably a misprice the work experience kid just forgot to stick the 1 in front of the 62 lol

Only you seem to be able to find it.
I got told off for being too specific but can send a screenshot, it seems locked to northern ireland addresses, if you add one just to test then look at the part itll show up because once I set it as one of my office addresses in Evesham it disappeared from being available at that price.

What has been both pleasing and annoying is finding a new branded 4TB SSD for around £280 or so.
Noting how it had gone up closer to £500 and now returned to the price that I decided to buy it at. No where near as cheap as the Samsung 870 SSD at less that £180, but still in these days not too bad a price to pay.
Considering how the market is shaping, everything seemingly costing more, I do wonder how such things can occur..? To go from £500 to back to around £280 and yet those global demands and shortages etc are sill around, being told that almost daily.
I'm not complaining of being able to buy a 4TB SSD at such a price but to drop as it did makes me wonder about some of these inflated prices.
