ITs great fun....I think I have something wrong with the sound though through my headphones...whenever I shoot the shotgun the noise cuts out (like its too much for the system and there is a little glitch), i might try turning on EAX but this might take a toll etc?

I get that too, the machine gun sound also cuts out. :confused:
 
has anyone got the cokllectors edition with the figure?

whats the quality like and is it worth £40 which is almost double the LE tin version?

also I read its really really easy to complete and the last boss is a joke...UNLESS you play on hard in which case its harder then Halo on legendary (which is impossible)

dunno if theres any truth to that..
 
Well, well, that patch sorts everything 1920x 1200 users might like to try W 0.73 and H 0.69 settings (hopefully they change in the hack scale after setting in the game)

Massive difference between easy and normal.. forget hard unless it's not much more than normal

I found hard mode a little too unfair while doing the medical level at the start.
You don't find enough ammo or eve but maybe I was unluckly.
After switching to medium and now on the third stage I have far too much ammo for all the guns, Its still enough of a chalenge for the moment.
In any case you can switch at any time from the gameplay options menu.
 
Yeah, I'm playing it on hard aswell. I am quite a way into the plant area(forgot what its called) and its not been too difficult. The big daddies are very tough but I try to fight them in places where it is hard for them to get at me or wher there is a rocket turret helping me shoot at him. The lack of ammo, mainly the special types(armour piercing and anti personnel etc), is certainly interesting. I don't have a problem with med kits and eve though, I always find enough and have enough money to buy some.
