What would you do? life changing decision ... genuine posts only please !!

Stay there, it's a far better place than the UK :)

Even when you know nobody?

I'd post advice, but I quite simply can't even begin to fathom how hard a decision it is to make.

All I can say is I hope in a few days time you're happy with whatever you choose.

You say that if you go you'll probably never see your daughter again, this makes it clear cut to me. You should stay, you'll make new friends and get to see your little girl grow up - if you go back you'll miss all of that and you can't ever get it back.

Well if you enjoy your work, you'll defiently enjoy seeing your daughter and other than not knowing anyone bar at work do you enjoy the country? If you do, then it's a no brainer really as you always meet new people you may even meet another woman over there and you'll be able to start again.

Yup, always can make new friends ya know;):p

Hmm if it wasnt for your daughter then id say come back but if i was you id stay and make as much effort as you can to spend time with your daughter. Imagine how she would feel if you left and never saw her again..pretty cruel and harsh and i know if my dad did that when i was young...id forever resnt him for it and wouldnt want to know him afterwards.

But at the end of the day, its your decision but id think long and very hard about your daughter and how she will feel when she finds out that you didnt stick around for her nor visited her as you said you probably wouldnt see her again.

when it comes to kids, sacrafices have to be made!
seriously dude, if you came back you'ld soon be wanting to go back, but I don't think it would be easy second time round?! tho I may be wrong on the last part of my post!
But I think the general concensus is stay with your daughter;)

For me there is no way I would leave my daughter if I was in your position. You should just try to make the best of your life over there.
