Cheers ND I used my 40d and took 2 lens, efs17-85 and ef 70-200 f4 is. I took most of the shots with the 70-200 but switched off IS, dial set to av mode, set to f4 & kept an eye on the shutter speed. If it went below 180 I upped the iso. We were lucky as it was a clear day so i was able to shoot mainly at iso 100.

Some great and amazingly sharp photos there!

Not up to the standard of many in this thread, but I'm quite proud of them, especially as they were taken on my lowly Nokia N82's camera. I got up to waist deep in the sea taking them & with every wave I was worried that my phone would get wet!

What dog is that mate?

Edit/ Just clicked the link [Zaf Slaps Head]

We've got a Spanish Water Dog and everyone thinks she's a Cockapoo!

Yep he's a Cockapoo(dle), he's a little furball really but he's a nice little dog, women seem to love him, shame they live in London otherwise I might take him out :D He's only a few months old, interesting thing I found out is that this breed don't moult so no hairs everywhere. Quite hard to take pics of him as his coat is a dark colour.

the dog shot is spot on ;)

Thanks, was just messing around with the 35mm as it was overcast.
