Beautiful shot! I'm just thinking if this shot could have been better with or without the movement. I do love the colours and lighting hitting the dancer's face

Some from the Hawkstone International MX 7/3/10. This event is a pre season meeting where the teams can try out new kit & check out the oposition. The MX1 class (450cc) winner was Belgiums Steve Ramon who broke his neck last year mid season,ouch. The MX2 class (250cc 4 stroke) was 15 year old German Ken Roczen, he looked very confident on the bike & won easily.

Cheers ND I used my 40d and took 2 lens, efs17-85 and ef 70-200 f4 is. I took most of the shots with the 70-200 but switched off IS, dial set to av mode,set to f4 & kept an eye on the shutter speed. If it went below 180 I upped the iso. We were lucky as it was a clear day so i was able to shoot mainly at iso 100.
