390's are an epic buy, I am down to under 100 units left though now, I am trying to find more but struggling, seems pretty much all the stock is now dried up.

Fury I think at £299 takes the cake though! :)

Yeah that is quite nice. Most of them can unlock at least half of the shaders too. If your lucky all of them.

Some really tasty deals on the freesync monitors, which is partly the reason why I'm hesitating going over to nVidia - price of G-Sync monitors in general.

I just have hesitation going for a 480. Its a decent card aimed at the mainstream, I just wish they had something comparable to the 1070.

The Fury is more a rival to the 1070, trades blows I'd say. Find some reviews of Fury where they test with newer drivers, it is now a very quick card indeed. :)

Your monitor is 4 years old. Even one of the more decent TN ones should match it for colours. Viewing angles, not so. But colour shift isn't as bad as it used to be.

The 'gaming' IPS / AHVA ones will likely offer better colours and comparable viewing angles.

Cool. maybe they are worth a buy. Are the screens Matte or Gloss? The room my PC is in is very bright, so i really appreciate a matte monitor.

Indeed, but we're in a new generation of GPU chips now in terms of manufacturing process, VR support etc. I'd rather get something leveraging these new technologies.

Just got to be patient with AMD I guess..

The Fury is GCN, it has all the new technologies, Fiji was and is well ahead of its time, it just needs software and API support to mature to see further gains which is now happening due to DX12 and Vulkan.

have you ever tried to be rational when on tramadols lol..my head is spinning now :(

if I get a 480 I can keep my psu..if I get a 390 or fury I have to buy another psu..buts its sooo tempting at that fury price.
