I dont know if i'm postin in the right section, o have a Palit gtx 1080 jetstream, lat noght when i turned on the computer it wouldn't post with the gpu installed, i put my old gtx 780 and worked fine, i think it's dead, i installed an ek preffiled waterblock on the 1080, any chance of an rma?

If the 1080's warranty covers cooler removal then yes, Otherwise you are up brown creek without a paddle

Finally got my i7 6700k and 1080 setup together. Upgrade from an i5 2500k and a 980. Doubled Ram to 16GB as well and hoping this will do me for two years minimum. Picked up the MSI Armor edition from the rainforest as I had some Vouchers from work. £460 all in inc. delivery. The Division plays well, downloading GTA V again as well. 67.8GB now!

Very similar upgrade to me but I came from a 4790k and Titan black sli.

I've seen a Palit GameRock for £579, say £20 for the game code that makes it about £559, still £100 over my GPU budget, is it worth it right now or should I wait? Bearing in mind I don't currently have a card.

Sorry, won't own Gigabyte stuff, everything I'd had from them previously has been garbage.

The Palit cooler is highly reviewed from both a temp and noise POV, I've owned many of their cards before hence looking to them first.

I have the same cooler on my Gainward 1080 and it is indeed excellent

Never had a problem with gigabyte stuff personally though.

I've had 970 G1, 980 G1 & 980ti G1. All excellent, especially the cooler. I actually had 970 & 980 SLI on air and they ran cool.
