I dont know either. Images resize, now, but only based on width and not height. i posed mine from my phone and it looked fine but when i viewed the thread on my PC i kinda realised the 2k image was pretty large

Pretty boring but clean look for me.
If you mean the round phone and text icons, check Elun and Pixel Icon Pack. They're pretty much the same, which is great as missing icons from one will probably exist in the other.
Well I basically installed the android phone app so standard icon, everything else is the standard icon too bar the camera. Used the Material Theme on the Samsung Themes App which changed the camera icon and then took the borders off in the options
Absolutely no icon packs required or launcher changes.

Galaxy S8 with the standard launcher, can't see me changing it. Much better this time around

From off, surely it's much more convenient? Personal preference I guess.
I have a Oneplus so from off I can just draw a circle on the screen to launch the camera (which I actually still forget to do)
You can but when i have the phone on and I'm at my homepage its quicker to just tap the iconThought you can open camera with double tap on the power button? No need for the icon
It's something I've always had on that location of my phone so I'm used to it also.
