I used the desktop capture feature built into Home++, most of the android home apps have one built in.
You can do this:

Not sure if you can get it anymore as the developer doesn't want to make android apps anymore or update them for new resolutions.i cant find the trism app either!
Oh and I definitely recommend "what the doodle" and "speedx", both only £1.

Thats desktop 1 of 4. Cant really be bothered doing them all, more or less the same stuff. No signal.

My phone is unrooted, I use DXTOP which gives me the dual tabs, the second one is a task manager.
The icons and background are from a DXTOP 2.0 theme on the market.
The clock is called flip clock widget and the weather is YR.NO weather widget.

Both the full app and the theme are purchased though, can't remember the limitations of the demo dxtop.
oh, forgot to say, the thing that displays the number over the gmail icon is "sms unread count"

I just changed them to application shortcuts by long pressing.
I think people just don't know how to fill up more than 3 home screens.

Do you get a little dos box pop up? Sometimes it takes a little while to start the actual program.
I guess it could be, it seems a lot of people have problems with getting the ddms tool to work =/

Hmmm, are live wallpapers worth the performance hit on my quaint little device?
I think it'll be nice to show off to people but launcherpro runs dog slow with them on instead of it's normal smooth as silkness.
And god, I wish there was a 2x1 clock widget that looked exactly like the clock on the 2.1 lockscreen.
