Like I said it's only confined to some windows, and if I move the mouse cursor, or another window over them you cannot see them anymore. For instance in chrome if I scroll down, they move up the page, as if they're embedded into it.

Have you upgraded the FuryX firmware to the UEFI version came out last year? (April 2016).
Do you use modded Bios?
Have you tried to switch to BIOS 2 on your card?
Have you tried different monitor?
Have you tried different cable?

That issue you are experiencing is pretty much hardware related. But to remove just in case any software issues, uninstall the drivers, use DDU and wipe them out completely.
Then install the later ones only. Also remove completely (wipe settings also) the MSI AB or any other overclocking software before you remove the drivers.

If you do all the above and the issue remains, unfortunately two options exist

a) open the card, give it a good clean, fresh Kryonaut paste and VRM padding.
b) RMA.

I have a Nano and using the latest drivers without issue. Also mine is heavily overclocked and even when I play with the VRAM overclock to 600/1200 I do not see such artefacts. Only way back with the GTX580 which was overheating when overclocked, and had to replace the padding.

I got this this GPU August last year, never touched the firmware of a GPU before in my life.

I have two monitors, and it happens mostly my second one with chrome always open.
As mentioned before, the "artifacts" are NOT stuck on the monitor, if I scroll the chrome page they move up with the rest of the, staying on their spots.

I always use DDU when installing new drivers, I also do not have AB, or other software. Only overclocking I do is the CPU via BIOS.

I do not overclock my GPUs, never seen the need to. Cleaned out the drivers again and installed 17.2.1. Now had WoW open on main monitor, and chrome with netflix on another. So far none of the little buggers on the anything Except the Radeon driver window itself.

They seem to be on the driver window constantly.

Just spent ages running around in WoW, and Conan Exiles and no issues so far since the roll back to older drivers.

Idk, format the system and re-install windows could be an option?
Change the cables? Do you use conversion adapters?

FYI if you use the AMD UEFI bios for the FuryX, you will see performance improvements and better overclocks, in addition to UEFI support for the graphic card, because currently is NOT a UEFI card. (if you haven't updated the stock bios).

No cable adapters at all.

Never updated a BIOS on a GPU before, really. Also updated my post. Since installing the previous driver no issues in games so far.

Ran around doing my naked survival thing in Conan Exiles and no issues, same for WoW. No little glitches so far in chrome either. * touch wood *
 
Okay, it's not drivers. Did a clean install again this time with 16.2.2 which were my golden ones. Issue still appears.

Tried different cables, and DP ports., and both monitors have the issues.

Only thing is, it's extremely random and sporadic. I can go hours in Premiere Pro, or gaming without issues. Then suddenly all hell breaks loose like in this video.



I get no problems in games like Overwatch, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, Space Marine, Ashes of the Singularity, Champions of Canaan or even the Witcher 3.

But do I dare run a benchmark like Timespy or Firestrike ( this just crashes ), or play WoW and it all goes mental.
I did find however that if I change the refresh rate ingame in WoW from 144hz - 120hz, back and forth it sometimes stops all the issues entirely. As each time you change the refresh rate it has to reload and redraw everything.

Also as I stitched together the video I also had no issues.
So there's definitely something going on, and sadly it does look like it's my GPU acting up. :(
I even updated to the new Fury X BIOS @Panos recommended. No help there sadly.

This is so intermittent. Spent all of last evening Raiding in WoW, and recording it all with DXTory and not a single issue. I then alt tab out, and back in and everything went mental again. Flicking little black squares everywhere, and rendering issues.

Which BIOS you are using? Have you tries to turn the switch to the other one?
(you have to turn off your PC first before you flip the switch).

If issue persists, then I would RMA the card.

Been using that new April 2016 one, same issues. Although game crashes now, and odd black screen flash as well. :/

Will try the other BIOS and report back.

I saw your temps on the other thread. 60C+ is too high for the HBM sitting next to the GPU. No wonder the artefacts.

Is your AIO fan spinning? What is your fan settings?
Set it to 100% and play few hours. Make sure it never gets bellow 35%.
If you tried to use the waţman quiet crap turn them off. They ain't work properly on the FuryX AIO.

use Msi AB and set it to clean up settings on restart also.
also when was the last time you cleared the radiator?

The GPU is always pegged at 95-99% load. WoW will eat up any GPU you through at it, specially after they increased the details and graphics in the latest expansion. Even redone old models entirely, with motion capture.

Also that is a my Spider Mount in it, and it has a funky butt :P

On another note, as seen in the video benchmarking software also freaks out the GPU currently.

I did switch to the second BIOS as @Panos suggested, and I've down volted my GPU by 12mV. Been running around in WoW this morning, and alt tabbing a lot.

No artifacting just yet, but I haven't used more than 2.3GB of VRAM. If it is a module dying it should muck up everything again once I get to 3GB and over.

If I can squeeze out enough life to last until Polaris refresh or Vega I'll be happy. Still have 4 months left on warranty, and with a replacement card I won't have issues RMA'ing.
Sadly they mentioned if I RMA it's either 8 weeks to wait and hope for a replacement, or a refund based on the depreciated value of the card.

100% fan curve is worse than a hair dryer at max next to your face, that's 3300RPM.

It would make video editing, and recordings impossible.

The stock settings is what I've been running, since the Fury max temp is 75 degrees apparently. It's never gotten that hot before though.
