To get on the Roll of Honour all you have to do is post a pic with your user name on it of your Vega 56.

My score seems low? or expected for my system spec?

Time Spy:

Radeon settings on default. Wattman on balanced.

Graphics score: 5971

Peak clocks recorded after run:

VEGA 56. Unable to install without bsod. Hugely disappointed.

Like others, running older set-up with PCIE2: i5 2600k with Gigabyte P67-UD4

From these threads it sounds like it's an issue with Windows 10, the driver, and older mobos?

If not resolved by Monday I will return and buy a 1080 . Was really looking forwards to gaming this weekend.

For people with Z68 chipset errors, the and forum suggests the latest beta GUI driver may work.

Yep - ive just done this today, after 3 or 4 failed attempts at flashing hacked bios's on to my z68ap-d3 rev1 (rev2 has offical beta uefi, rev1 doesnt - but you can find custom roms on tweaktown) - finally managed to get this running on uefi bios.

Wacked the vega back in, and im now back in win10 with the card working... so thanks to anyone who has helped, if anyone needs a hand just reply below. Also have a few comparisons from my r9 290 to vega56 benchmarks in tomb raider and heaven 4.0 I will put up in a bit as a pointer for anyone else considering the upgrade.

Set the power to +50% in wattman and the score should bit 6500 and the clock speed should stay more stable and be higher.

I'm running at 1070mv and 1622 on p7. Holds that speed stable and has given me a score of 6700 in timespy.

I would also set the memory to 900 or 950, you will get some big gains with that, also try undervolting, start with 1100 and see how it goes

Thanks, what about memory oc?

Also I'm checking other vega 56 benchmark and most people on default balanced settings getting 6200+ graphics score but my one on same setting gets around 5900+. Wonder why there is quite a difference.

Stock was 6210
Stock + 50% 6692
Graphics score was 6863 with 50%, 1070mv P7 1612mhz. Stock RAM.
Graphics score was 7116 with 50%, 1070mv P7 1612mhz. 925mhz RAM

The RAM OC ive just done for this test, it completed the timespy but need to carry out more testing to see if its stable.
I have a Corsair PSU that monitors power, 12v rail max was 28.250amps and power was 370w. I have seen it a tad over 30amps but cant remember what settings that was with.

My Fury at 1ghz was 4810 graphics score.

This is on a R5 1600 at 3.85ghz.

so a few screengrabs for anyone interested in moving from a r9 290 to vega 56, this is on my 2500k @ 4.5 & 12GB corsair xms3 1333
