Legal aid should not fund asylum legal action.

You can claim asylum in any country you land in, no matter how many you've passed through to get there. This is entirely legal. It is a proper channel.

If you're fearing for your life then why would you take a dangerous journey when there are safe countries within easy reach? Unless you're greedy that is?

Have you noticed that my posts have links to all my sources?

All i'm getting from The Running Man is some screenshots from god knows what source...

"It was reported in 2007 that 1/5 of solved crimes in London was committed by immigrants"

Ok, who reported that? Was it accurate? How does that compare to other years? Is it still accurate 13 years later? What's the source?

If the options are on the table, you pick the one you like the most. Human nature. Nobody's gonna look at their options and go "nah, I'll take the crap one tnx".

If a country is made up of type A people and type B people. And there is 1% A people and 99% B people. And 49% of the bad crime is committed by type A and 51% by type B, then we should focus on the B crime because they do the most crime absolutely.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Right, so we have two articles only focused on London - I thought this was about immigration to the UK?

The first article is from 2007, so the data is 13 years old....Why would you use a 13 year old news article on one city to prove a point about migration and crime in the UK?

The other article is about statistics comparing black vs white crime statistics in London - again, no mention of immigration at all there. I hate to have to tell you this, but black people can be and most often are, British born.

Just give up @The Running Man you'll eventually find some evidence they can't weasel away and then they'll just blame the discrepancy on systematic racism and poverty (which they'll imply is due to systematic racism too). Or some other ridiculous thing that isn't quantitative.

London is most relevant as

https://commonslibrary.parliament.u...e were approximately, live in the capital city.

"The UK’s migrant population is concentrated in London."

People take dangerous journeys precisely because there are not safe countries within easy reach. Most of the time they can't even get through the neighbouring countries. That's why so many dangerous countries have the highest numbers of refugees.

'I'd rather live in a safe western nation where I can get a job and support my family without being murdered on the street, than a ****** third world one where the cops are corrupt, unemployment is through the roof, and I have very few legal protections' has nothing to do with greed.

If you flee Syria/Lebanon/(some other north african/middle eastern country) and land in Italy, why are you not applying for asylum there? Or are you seriously implying they're travelling through the med around Spain and landing in Cornwall? (they're not, hence the camps in Calais, which is in France, a very rich and wealthy country similar to the UK).

You're advocating human trafficking which enables modern slavery. Absolutely disgraceful.

Maybe they are coming to the UK because of all the lovely people.
No, no, no, did you not see all the protests recently? We're incredibly racist, our history is pure racism and everything about the UK is just straight up out and out racism. Funnily enough this message never seems to reach these countries that they flee from.

Didn't think France was quite that bad!
