Liking the Zotac 3090 Trinity same price as founders and 5 year warranty. Anyone know what Zotac coolers are usually like?
Do you guys think the 3090 graphics cards requires a support bracket to hold it up in the case, like we used to have in the good ole days?
So they probably tried to reuse an old design for the low end and found it didn't work? We'll see when the reviews are out but hopefully they've done a better job on the other versions.I think its a last minute addition because the card was obviously getting too hot under testing. Makes me worry about getting any AIB card tbh. but lets see. I've decent case flow. and its going to be winter....
possibly. I am a bit worried about playing Microsoft Flight Simulator as it is pulling over 10GB with a 2080Ti but I hope it shouldn't be so bad on the 3080. See here: https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/microsoft-flight-simulator-(2020)-pc-graphics-performance-benchmark-review,4.html#:~:text=Graphics memory (VRAM) usage&text=Flight Simulator fills up graphics, and it likes 8GB cards.&text=This game will consume graphics, can change at any time.
But will those come with an adaptor to convert an 8 pin to 2X8 pin?
well the reviews that appear before public availability tend to come with rules, NDAs, expectations and threat of black listing. I'm not saying reviewers will out right lie but they will be constrained by benchmarks, what they can say and how they say it. Just be aware...will we start seeing reviews now or do they only appear once the cards are on sale?
Looks like the clowns getting into ghetto tech thereCan we talk about the fact that the clown card is a QUADROUPLE SLOT card!?
The pricing doesn't make sense, if AMD are gona come in cheaper than the 3080, and have more vram, why would Nvidia then, increase the vram on their card, but price it even higher (by adding another £350+), to their card thats already beat on price and vram.
There's a Zotac with a Boost clock listed now...

Its just caching as much as it can I believe. Personally, without evidence to back it up, I think its a load fearmongering. Happy to change that view with some evidence to the contrary, a VRAM usage graph isn't evidence of negative performance.
lol. I actually have one for my case (not to carry the card though!). My PCI-E lanes need to start hitting the gym I think. They need to be ready to carry some thicc items.Yes get your LEGO figure ready
I've genuinely got 13 fans currently in my case lol
Won't it just mean, if air cooled, having to increase the CPU fan(s) speed by a few percent and also the front and rear case fans?have u read or hear dof concerns tha these 3000 series cards will now push hot hair from the bottom of teh card to the top where its close to the CPU?
Right, so I’d have to buy another Superflower 8 pin as I only have two.Don't know but that would be a bad idea anyhow.
Never skimp on a PSU and never use one cable to power 2x6 or 2x8, IMO.

Now that's better.
Same price as the FE but with a longer warranty.
And I had a Zotac 780 Ti, had the chassis of a battle tank, full metal jacket!
This is now the favourite to get my dosh.
