That won't happen for a very long time...prices will settle at £549 for 5900X £799 for 5950X

Ryzen 5000 series got a price bump third time around by AMD from the 3000 series.

Yeah, upon reflection...I got my 5800x pre-ordered for £420 from OCUK (I thought it was 450) so absolutely no chance I'm paying £500.

I see other companies have the 5950x in stock, deam, last time I'm preordering through OC. Its been so long sitting in queue, last week was 13th and this week no movement. Deam it.
I should have been playing Cyberpunk by now, but nooo, thanks to OC.

Kept my 5800x order with OcUk, have a cooler on the order as well and couldn't be bothered messing about cancelling.

So I've just sent off a cancellation form for the 5800x as I have managed to bag one from somewhere else for roughly the same price I paid here. (This isn't a dig at OCUK - they can only do what they can do).

Says it should be delivered tomorrow. Fingers crossed it's not an error and I actually get the product. If not, well...sucks to be me! xD
