RYZEN 5000 SERIES NOW ONLINE - 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X COMING NOV 5TH AT 5PM **NO COMPETITORS**

What's the going rate in shops now? I forked out £450 a couple of weeks ago and that felt bad. I saw today one place had them listed for £500?!

Yep £500+ seems to be the going rate. I found one in stock last night for £520 so I’m assuming that’s the price others have paid.

I don't feel so ripped off then, that's great thanks!

You're welcome, I have £428.99 on my whiteboard, I think that was OcUK original price and the £420 one was a competitor, I'll call them Political Correctness globe, I hope it doesn't get flagged lol However the latter never has any in stock, no wonder selling them at that price lol, also their site is bot friendly so no chance.

The 5800X seems to be flowing into stock this morning and hopefully the trend will continue . I had one in my basket for approximately 10 minutes at a price of £402 before they finally disappeared.

I decided against it and will hold out for my pre ordered 5900X, even though I'm still at 900+ in the line :(

I can't see the pre order button for the 5900x on ocuk?

The websites I found are £490 / £507 respectively, have had stock now (checked just now 9:28am) since yesterday about 7pm.

Which means they are not selling out instantly, I would guess the price is too high for scalpers, and that other (people that genuinely just want one) have either found, or are waiting on cheaper sources.

It might be the turning point where competition is actually higher then demand, which is obviously good for us (the end consumer) and it seems Zen 3 AMD CPU's are not going the way of 30xx series Nvidia graphics cards which are of today, an absolute state with no signs of easing.

Fingers cross OCUK come through this/next week with Gibbo's claim of the few hundred as per his post.

Yeah, 5950X @ £899 from competitor have not sold one by the looks if it...Not enough profit for the scalpers...

How long do you think I’m going to have to wait before I can get the 5950x for £750? Quite happy to wait.

I mean, no one can ever give you any assured answer, but looking at how things are going, I would guess now only a matter of weeks/maybe early into Jan things will start easing up and stock returning to reasonable levels.

Cheers mate - yeah I was hoping that would be the case.

Not sure the same will be the case for the Nvidea gpus though :/
