RYZEN 5000 SERIES NOW ONLINE - 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X COMING NOV 5TH AT 5PM **NO COMPETITORS**

I bet the MODs are looking at my post thinking he's teetering on the edge there :p I've had 1 ban for posting a swearing Hitler video/meme, I don't fancy another lol, a ban definitely would break me :(

Ah your good, I'm 5 or 6 bans in, nothing I'm proud of but meh this place is to sensitive and ott with rules.

If I was to order a 5900x here right now, where would I likely be in the queue? Wait time? Maybe there's someone that just placed an order recently with a queue position update.

I’m not too fussed about the extra 4 cores on the 5900k but I noticed the boost clock Was set .1ghz higher for each model. So I decided to go for the 5900x for better gaming performance but I was wondering, after some testing can are the boost speeds overclockable? If so does anyone know which has been performing better in games? I was considering if the less total cores and only 1 CSX but 2 in the 5900x would give better thermals therefore giving better gaming performance.

if so I might try my luck for a 5800x and cancel my 290th the queue 5900x.

my sole focus is high refresh rate low res exports titles, and I guess the 12 cores will be more future proof. Which is one plus. I just haven’t see gaming benchmarks where the deciding factors is the pre set overclock speaks that I’m sure can be adjust with the lower tier chips having higher headroom because of superior thermals.

No where. Because OcUK stopped taking orders on them a while ago :D (shock I know)

Both would perform within a couple of fps of each other but where you can make some nice gains though especially at low resolutions is with some decent Samsung B-die ram with fast speed and tuned timing.

Just happened to be browsing a well known high street store and noticed they had 5800x’s in stock - picking it up on Monday, woo!

Happy Christmas to me! :D

Ordered 5900x on launch Days, currently 290th in queue so praying I get one of these 300. I assume the queue system will be honored and I with therefore relieve my cpu within the next week. I will be be ****** if any of these 5900x end up in prebuilt pcs and bundles because they more profitable, especially if they ordered later than I did on launch day.

would have been very nice if @Gibbo was clear on allocation of all 300 because I’m right on the edge.

Managed to snag a 5600x for only £310 somewhere else... decided to save myself the money and cancel the 5900x.

5600x is the nuts... PBO and auto oc and it runs 4650 all core and 4800 single, had a 3600x in before and it's a noticeable improvement... maybe I'll miss the 12 cores later when I start rendering vids but I don't have a high workload.

Roll on 3080.... Cyberpunk 2077 on a 980ti is a joke... only just playable on 1440p med/low.

Good luck troops. I'm off to whinge on the 3080 forum.

To be fair, I now have both the 5900x (after an RMA) and my 3080 (After cancelling with ocuk and finding via distil) sorted and we're still not talking max settings full ray tracing on cyberpunk at 1440p, you have to Crank DLSS to max and it totally screws the character detail I've found ultra graphics, medium ray tracing and quality DLSS works best for me (gaming x trio)

I think you will be very lucky to get it, they will keep behind a stock for RMA units like mine was in that

Forgot to say, they won't go to prebuilds though. Different stock allocated, prebuilds oem stock come without retail packaging and would cost them less

Yea I have 2x16gb sticks of g.skill 4000mhz cl16. Might need to underclock depending If I get the Infinity fabric to 2000mhz.

Great news that the 5900's are in an will be shipped soon, especially as my Dark Hero Motherboard order from another place was picked by them this morning so should also be dispatching today or over the weekend.
