The difficulty seems a bit uneven. Through doing side quests, I've managed to reach level 15. So far, I've had no issues taking down NPC's, but I've now been tasked with destroying some kind of robo arachnid, and it keeps forking me up something chronic. I've even tried dropping the difficulty level; still no luck.

Is this in the powerplant area? If yes get the Mono Defender augments that spawns a shield guy and another augment to the Neutron Beam weapon. Spawn the shield guy and the spider focuses on him, then keep using the neutron beam augment and energy weapons (EBR Enforcer is a great energy weapon) on the spider.

The Mono Defender has a 60 second cooldown, so avoid the spider until you can spawn it again. The Neutron Beam will racharge in 15 seconds, so you should get 3 shots in while the Spider is distracted.

Phwoar blimey. I caved and bought this yesterday morning and I haven’t done much else but play it all weekend. Loving it. Like others have said it does get a bit jittery but it hasn’t spoiled it for me, it’s super addictive.

Been having a blast on this but some missions are a mess, get to level 5, find side mission which is recommended for level 5, takes you to an area were the mobs are level 15 and one shot you...wtf!

When that happens I found it best to ignore the side mission in question and try a different one. I also found that completing missions of any kind gave far more experience that wondering around aimlessly killing NPCs.

Yeah I had this a couple of times.

I finished the main story line last night at level 29, and went and hoovered up all the side quests. I must have missed a few though as I've completed every quest in my log but I didn't get the achievement for completing every side quest. Ahh well, not to worry, more exploring for me!

I do really love this game, I hope they release a load of DLC for it.

You need fire resistant armour and use the emp grenade and any energy weapons you have. They are brutal though. Bloody little spider buggers.

Finished the game 2 nights ago and was very satisfied. There were some brutally hard bits later on which took me at least 8 or 9 goes to beat (weirdly when you figure out the knack it always seems almost comically easy after numerous failed high effort attempts).

Been playing on coop as well which is fun because you really need to focus fire a bit with the bigger health pools. I noticed having 2 people isn't much different, but adding a third player seems to buff enemies a lot.

Hahahaha, how did I miss that?

I hoovered up the last side quests tonight. Nothing left to do apart from achievement chase, can’t be bothered with that. I wasn’t ready for it to end. :(

I was gutted when it turned out I hadn't done all the side missions. I was so sure I'd picked them all up!

Oh man, it was the opposite for me, I was over the moon when I saw I had more stuff to do. It turned out the only ones I'd missed were the casino delivery missions. So no extra combat, just taxis around the place for 15 minutes and I was done. :(

Can't wait for some DLC to be announced.

Completed the game last night. Just under 30 hours, finished at level 31 and with only two achievements missing, both of which related to filling the codex. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only main criticism being that the story was quite weak; it could have done with being "ramped up" up a bit. Well worth the price though.

Yeah, that side of it really showed the "small indie team" element of it. They did well with what they had, but I ended up skipping all the dialogue just to get the quests in my log. It's no Mass Effect on that front!

Oh yeah, I did the first one and totally forgot! Thank you

That's what I did. I found trying to follow the story annoying - enjoyed the game less trying to follow it!

I played it through with an Xbox controller and it seemed fine, but I do see how it would play well with with M&KB too. Seems daft that you can't aim whilst walking.
