Very Nice! I would be interested to know what's changed from the old model, I guess its just a facelift and new wheels? Has the inside changed much?

Mine is a 2021 - Cracking cars :D

I had a choice between 6 different colours some V6 manual, some V6 auto (not onsite though when I went to view) some i4 auto. Went for the i4 auto as the V6 auto box is not great & A-B the i4 is actually faster despite slightly less power as no transmission inertia loss! (I live in London so manual is a no no for me too much traffic to crawl along in the clutch is really heavy so had to get the auto model!).

More pictures to follow alongside my 2022 Renaultsport Megane (which I am never selling so have 2 yellow cars now LOL!).

All the Emira look jaw dropping in person they are so pretty its a stunning design & although not quite having hyper car performance it has hyper car looks & supercar performance for sportscar money! More than fast enough for UK roads & limits!

What a beauty.

Good to hear you are still enjoying the Mégane too. What's the mileage now :D

Congratulations, stunning car

61K miles almost 62K miles still love it never selling it either! Why have 1 Yellow Car when you can now have 2! Emira is no bigger than the RS just lower, meaner, weighs the same more or less same torque also more or less 430nm vs 420...but the Emira has 360 bhp & the engine is an absolute screamer like a F1 car going full chat when you floor it so much drama & noise I love it real boy racers car :p

Yeah they do look Epic. Just seems the engine choice is a tricky one? It’s not quite as bad as a 2 litre F type mind. That car should have never existed ha.
Mate the engine is stunning it boosts to 7200 RPM. The Turbo makes a lovely sound also. Flutters, whines, screams just sounds so immediate.

Then when the Titanium tipped sports exhaust valve opens, the engine screams at high RPM & the turbo flutters & whistles all at the same time when you floor it sounds like an F1 car from the eras where they let them scream at full chat!

I got the i4 Auto as manual is too heavy for London traffic. Its a really lovely engine AMG A45s based (detuned slightly but MY2025 model will come with a higher state of tune!).

Well, about 3 weeks or so ago, waved good bye to the X trail:
Spec is N connecta, 4 wheel drive, 213bhp e power

kdBgqPh.jpeg

Had this for six weeks while the Mustang awaited new calipers. Funny car the X-trail, I am not really sure who it is for, unless you need a 7 seat version, then I could see it, they had this for sale for £38k while I had it...

things I disliked:
Power tailgate, this worked 2/10 times, when it closed the alarm kept going off, so I stopped using the boot 2 weeks in. (also felt like it took ten hours to close and open)
31 mpg expected better from something supposedly so efficient
Steering, so light, felt like I was driving a relatives Micra.
Kids complaining in the back as the heating controls in there seemed broken, put it on hot, basically does not work, switch to cold loads of fan speed
General touch screen stuff
notamustang over and over.

Things I liked
Heated windscreen
Heated steering wheel
360 camera, this was pretty useful in car parks, as this felt quite a large car
ermm.... it was relatively swift for its size to be fair

Anyway, the Mustang is back:

Glad I did not listen to family and reject the car to "buy something else quick", "smaller and newer", no suggestions on anything to replace it with of course. Yawn
V8 burble still putting a smile on my face, I have washed it twice now, put private plates on (not my cup of tea but they were a gift)

Things planned:
Windscreen wiper that works if this one does not clean up, dealer was great with this "if it fails its mot we will replace it", this does not help me when it rains!
Rain x the back window
New rear tyres in new year
Car matts, there are none in the back, so I have thrown in some from the garage
Drive it!

It's always great to get your car back, especially when you've been provided a car from a completely different class.

I felt the same with the Jeep 3XE I had as a courtesy car for 15 weeks. Sure, I'm not fan of SUV style cars and I don't have kids so straight away the car class isn't my cup of tea but even after that, I couldn't understand why anyone looking for something like that would buy this Jeep.

Like the X-trail it was highly speced and whilst I expect scratch plastic galore at that price point, I didn't expect the amount of creaks and rattles.

It was the hybrid system that I just didn't understand. I was getting about 25 miles on the battery and 45mpg was the best MPG I saw, something I easily achieve in my Giulia Veloce.

Merry Christmas, a picture of my three Germans. :)

Three immensely fun and engaging cars to drive, NA engines, hydraulic steering, RWD and incredible chassis all with epic soundtracks.

And not one normal car to just do life in. and the yaris and alpine got sold yet ‘were sublime’ Tbh it’s just a churn of cars and not really understanding any of the purchase decisions or why you spend so much taxing and insuring so many cars. Sorry just had to say it as it really perplexes me why every car is amazing then sold within 3 months.

Merry Xmas

Some people store cash in their bank, some store it on their drive. Doubt he has lost much given the models he buys/people he rips off (Porsche GT3 comes to mind that he got from a mate and flipped for 10k more a month or two later :D)
