Games you're playing, and games...

Went back to Outer Worlds 2, had a little break - and now i'm in the mood for it!, I think I played it too soon after Ghost of Yotei, really having a fun time with it now, it's 'clicked' - I hate it when that happens, after playing an amazing game beforehand, sure I have missed out on some games for the same reason

Enjoying exploring the world and shooting stuff, nice to chill out to of an evening :D It's just a lot of fun once you get into the groove

Had a little bit of time to kill the other night so as I had added Cocoon from the recent free monthly games, I decided to download it and give it a try

2 hours later and I finally noticed the time lol

In terms of the look, it reminds me of Tunic with the cartoon style, but it has definitely made me think with the puzzles and how to solve them

My brain is obviously wired in a way that makes the puzzles seem logical but there have been a couple spots that have stumped me for a while

Only a short game by all accounts but I have already got about a dozen of the trophies so think I will be going for the platinum as there only a few left to find
 
Far Cry Primal. I'm a huge fan of the Far Cry games but never actually played this one at the time as it just didn't appeal. However popped up on Gamepass and it's a blast.
 
104hrs into Satisfactory....oh god. I spent thousands of hours on the PC version.
My current factory is almost at the end now as I am on the last tier but I've no idea if I'll still continue working on it after that!
 
Got the platinum on Cocoon, so decided to download Stray tonight and played a little bit

Different in terms of the visuals but the play style reminds of Portal to a degree with the puzzle solving

Also downloaded Lego Horizon for my wife and we played through a few levels in co-op
Might end up playing it myself to grab trophies as this one doesn't give trophies to both players like some of the other games do when playing co-op under my wife's profile
 
Started playing Dragons Dogma 2 on the PS5 the other day.

I really can't stomach any more of it. What an exceptionally boring game. Bland characters and boring missions. Walking around the map is nothing short of tedious with the constant fights against the same 2 enemy types and your bloke running out stamina every 5 seconds.

I feel bad because it was a Christmas present from last time around... but yeah - not having fun at all so I binned it off.
 
Still working my way through some backlog before I get Ghost of Yotei. Currently playing Arkham Asylum on my Legion Go and RoboCop on PS5
 
Picked up Metroid Prime 4 for Switch 2 and just finished it.

Really really enjoyed it! Ran credits at 85% completion in around 12.5hrs.

Was a bit worried about the open world dessert but the Vi-O-La (bike) handled so well and there was more to do than expected. Played through it in 4k60 and the HDR implementation is genuinely incredible.

Hopefully there's more to come and in a much quicker turn around. Been a great first year for Switch 2 so far.

Finished Indiana Jones - proper 10/10 imo, captured the feel of the film's perfectly, and even if the AI was a bit dodgy; it kind of fit with how the fights etc are like in the films.

Got the add on to do next
