Sci-fi mystery where a radio DJ and a switchboard operator in 1950s New Mexico discover a mysterious, otherworldly audio frequency on the radio, leading them on a hunt for UFOs.
It's worth it. Remaster is a huge improvement. One of my favourites, didn’t know that there is a remaster, might have to watch it again!
Yes a bit of a shaggy dog story I thought. I also watched it last night.Wake up Dead Man - a bit too long really but fun enough. 3/5

Not watched it yet.. but I really hope it sticks to the book ending..
American Graffiti (1973)
Never seen it. Bit of a weird movie in a way, it kinda doesn't have any real direction or seem to go anywhere whilst remaining quite entertaining throughout.
I barely recognised Harrison Ford in it, and Richard Dreyfuss looked so much younger than he did in Jaws despite only being 2 years prior.
Cool movie though, great cars, music and of course Wolfman Jack who I am familiar with from watching old episodes of Midnight Special.
7/10
I don't remember much of the Arnie version to remember how that ended, but i fear you might be similarly disappointed like me!
yeah I was.. I gave it a 6/10 in the Running Man thread.. mostly enjoyed it, but the last 1/4 was too rushed / didn't fit with the rest of the movie.. and as for the ending.. bah!!.. as I said in that thread.. i'm guessing they are setting up for a Running man 2..
The Vast of Night (2019)
Re-watched, still 8/10
I love this film for its story telling, pacing and atmosphere - but it doesn't poll well with audiences - like a lot of the films I watch!
I rewatched the first one a few weeks back after 20 years and was blown away.Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair (at the cinema)
