Meant the Apple travel kit rather than a bog standard travel adapter or multi travel adapter. The kit is the bees knees. It's brilliant and the plugs actually fit and stay in the wall rather than those multi fit ones that fall out. Plus you end up having this massive thing hanging out the socket as well.
Was in need of an upgrade from my 14 Pro Max, probably could have gone another year but I just really fancied a change. Initially bought an S25 Ultra which arrived Saturday, but that very evening it was boxed up and back at a DPD drop off (could not get on with the thing).

So I just returned the Pro Max and am going to stick with the regular 17 after all.I caved and bought a 17 Pro Max
I've had the 17 for just over a month and as much as I tried I could not get round the smaller screen. I'm never usually THIS impulsive but I just kept thinking I needed the larger device again. So when Amazon got some stock of the Blue PM's on Tuesday curiosity got the better of me!
I haven't even finished paying off the 17 - I'm just glad the credit card doesn't show in the joint banking account
I remembered after a week that the size and heft of the Pro Max just isn't worth it. The smaller size is just much better in the hand. I'll keep the 17 and see what the 18 Pro offers up next year
Plus, the Black 17 is the perfect accompaniment to my Space Black MacBook Pro.

I have the EU and US ones for my MacBook and they're decent, but still feel like they'll fall out at a moments notice from the useless plug designs. I'd say they're definitely the best things to use over just a multi travel plug. But nothing is like a UK socket.
The 17 Pro (256gb) can currently be picked up from Very for £962.10.

One thing I’ve noticed from almost all of the reviews I’ve watched/read is that they don’t mention the RAM difference between the regular 17 and the Air/Pro’s.
Every other facet has been rinsed and repeated through every review (as usual) but not the RAM.
This leads me to believe that there is no discernible difference from 8gb vs 12gb because it would have been covered to death if it were the case.
Has anyone here noticed the bump in RAM?

It would be a bigger deal if the AR coating was actually useful. I can’t say I’ve noticed any difference between my 17 and 15PM in day to day use.

Same. Want to move from my 14 Pro to a 17 now as my batt life is at 88% and Apple's trade in gets me a £275 voucher. Going to wait for my Jan paycheck before I jump in. Shame the colours of iPhone's since the 14 Pro's really suck. Deep Purple ftw.
I ended up pulling the trigger. Delivery tomorrow hopefully.
