    AMD 290 Problems

I tried underclocking it to 1250 and it's still doing the same things. It's horrible in GTA, the sky turns black and polygons come out of my character too

    AMD 290 Problems

I am trying that now... Thank you! If I did RMA, I think I'll just buy a new card and when I get that one back I'll sell it and make some money back.

Actually, I just checked and I bought it 2/1/2014 on an american distribution site... Idk if we can say competitors names.

    AMD 290 Problems

It's a Sapphire Tri-X. I believe they only have a 2 year warranty, and I'm sure I've had mine more than 2 years.

    AMD 290 Problems

It's running at the clocks it shipped with. I haven't overclocked it, ever.

    AMD 290 Problems

I have had my 290 for atleast 2 years now. I've never had problems until these past few weeks and it's getting worse and more frequent. Across multiple drivers, including the new crimson drivers, I am seeing polygonal tearing and pop in, I'm seeing artifacts, black flickering at times, and...

4K IPS - What would you buy?

The Ben Q 32 inch and the Acer 32 inch has IPS variants, I believe. I've been watching those two closely, hopefully a gsync or freesync of the Ben Q comes out, then I will bite.

How is the 4k gaming experience?

Thank you. What's the link to your site? So far I like the Philips and the 32 inch Ben Q. The Ben Q is where Im leaning because it looks like it's higher quality plus it is IPS

How is the 4k gaming experience?

How do you enjoy it? Would you say it was worth the big investment? How do games look compared to people who jumped from 1440 or 1600. I've heard some people say it's not worth it in forums while others say the jump from one of those resolutions was like the jump from 1080 to 1440 or 1600.

    Need opinions/help on purchase

This is purely for gaming and some web-browsing/day-to-day. I am deciding between the LG 31 inch flatron that is true 4k and the Phillips 4k 40 inch... The Phillips is cheaper and has more size but is a VA panel. The Flatron costs more but it is calibrated and is true 4k plus looks a...

    The official Philips BDM4065UC thread

Thinking about buying one of these and so is my brother. Does anyone know of any reviews for gaming experience? Or if you have it, could you break it down? For me, I've been wanting a bigger screen with 4k, right now I'm at 1440p. Is this jump big in clarity? My brother has been eye-balling...

    Just won an AMD 9590

Just won an AMD 9590 in a twitter contest. The re-released one with a watercooler. I think I am going to sell it because I already have an i5 3570k. What are your thoughts on both CPUs? I figured I'd make more money on the 9590 rather than selling my i5 with a 150$ mobo just to buy a new AMD...

Building my little sister a rig for her graduation...

that's what I thought... lol when I saw that I was like huh? I had a 290 and i5 at one point on a cheap thermaltake 600w... Thank god I upgraded since then and got a better psu. I was thinking an evga 430watt. It's cheap on amazon over here. I wish we had overclockers in the US :( I bought a...

Building my little sister a rig for her graduation...

Of course! I caught her looking at laptops for gaming and I let her know the deal. Told her I would build her a real computer for gaming and at home work, that way she can use her i3 acer laptop for school. It's a small laptop perfect for carrying around.

Building my little sister a rig for her graduation...

Exactly and she won't be playing those outside of the sims. So I found a refurbished newegg 270x powercolor for 145$. That with the i5 would be killer for her. What would the psu need to be? 500w minimum on amd's website for a 270x

Building my little sister a rig for her graduation...

I'm thinking the i5 4470 will be a must though. That will help her a lot more.

Building my little sister a rig for her graduation...

Yea I know it doesn't need a high end gpu. I just want her to be able to run most games if she ever wants them. She games a lot on xbox but she wants to switch over. I read an article a while back on toms about 7730s and such getting 100 fps on LoL
