Bought an Antec P182 Case on the recommendation's of many OcUK Forum Members from having moved away from my trusted Akasa Eclipse 62 :( The P182 case seems to have everything I could have wished for, to name a few..Top exhaust fans/ Dual filters that can be cleaned without having to remove the cases front bezel, and a rock solid build. Posted pictures of my new case, and will add more once I have started my build. There have been a lot of threads regarding various topics about this case, and seems only right to start an *Official One Stop P182 Thread* for all FAQ's, and of course if P182 owners can pass on there expert suggestions for people like myself just starting out with this case, and pictures of your P182 creations would be

Well, ill add a few pictures i pull out too often then, ill re-do them next time i find my camera, things have changed a fair old bit:
cable management, the p182 is obviously good for this as you can really just shove it to the side.

Internals, how things go together (loosely), have since removed the lower fan and bottom top hard drive cage so i can put the fan where it can cool the graphics card (picture pending).

lol, yeeh ive actually bothered to install it now, the fan controller nob thing was just a little too big to fit through the gap, so had to force it a little, it's not going anywhere fast now thats for sure. (No prizes for pointing out the tuniq fan is a) not the right way round or b) not screwed in :p either).

I'm thinking of getting this case . I have a Tagan TG580-U15 580W ATX2.01 Easycon PSU. Does anyone know if the cables will reach the MB without needing a PSU Extension Cable .

Im getting one of these, is it tricky to set up for a first time build?
Only thing i found tricky was getting the DS3R 6pin power supply plugged in, because usefully its located right under the (massive) tuniq heatsink. Cable routing can take a while too, but its rewarding.

Snap! I too got one based on OCUK advice.
Mine is also empty awaiting parts. Please hurry.

just built mine yesterday, took a few photos, transfering them now, shall be up in a few minutes.
you guys with the case need to hide MORE wires behind the mobo tray. you can hide A LOT more.

btw, installed a chassis speaker, since this case don't have one, and i DIY-ed a fan controller, so there's a lot of wire needs to be hidden in my case

edit: photos uploaded
more wires hidden:

relatively clean lower chamber (with fan installed)

a bit messy here, because of the pannel plugs

very clean CPU area, note: i've used the wind-tunnel, so air blown from the wind-tunnel can reach at the end of the case. and with front door closed, i can't even hear 2 fans it! (DIY-ed fan controller at lower chamber, see ^ )

note: im a first time builder. so considering even i can hide the wire easily, i would 1000% recommend this to anyone looking to build a new PC

Have you got two 120mm fans in middle bay's fitted, I was thinking of using the 120mm fan mounting which is fixed to the front middle of the case, and also use the middle HDD cage with the 120mm fan clips fitted together, this should cause a stronger wind tunnel over the Graphics card and Motherboard with these two fans attached within 8 inches of each other..;)

of course, there's room, why not?

and with fans on around medium speed (adjust using my DIY fan controller) i can't hear it behind my case door

Here is mine as it stands at the moment.

Future modifications include:

4 Sharkoon SE 2000 120mm fans
Zalman fan controller
Replacing front fan filter doors with some sort of mesh to increase air flow.
SATA DVD/RW
Maybe different heatsink/water?

Oh and a tidy :)

Would be cool if Antec produced a P182 with a black interior with the Gun Metal panels, I was looking at the SE Edition but did prefer the Gun Metal side and door panels to the reflective version... Only a personal preference, mind you I was flipping a coin between the two ;) Both editions do look "Awesome" with there diffrent apperance's, very nice work VaderDSL on your case 10/10 ..
