Nice one! :)

Can I ask how you get a screenshot like that on here?

Use the PrtSc button to the right of the F12 key on your keyboard, load up MS Paint (or Photoshop, Paint.Net etc) paste it, preferably crop the image to just the relevant windows and then save the image as jpg.

If you want to capture just one window then press the Alt-Gr (to the right of your space bar) together with PrtSc.

Upload to free no registration required site likes tinypic.com or imageshack.us, get the url and then do what Tom said above :)

Thanks guys :)

Sorry for lack of results. As soon as I got it booted up, I had to rush off to hospital (family). Only just got back in (nothing major just lots of waiting around).

Looking forward to see what you can do, 4Ghz should be a walk in the park, what is your CPU stepping (says on the box the FPO)

Nice chip you seem to have Tom wait with interest see what you get out off it 4 ghz + would be nice :)

Nice overclock ben that stock hs ?

Noctua bracket dropped through letter box just now :D

did you claim the free one or pay for it ? i was gunna say god that was quick considering you need to upload a pic of you mobo invoice which obviously only came out the other day

Box is in the loft already but will take a look tomorrow.

Yep free one. I ordered the board Tuesday and sent off a screencap of the order to them. Board/chip/mem arrived Wednesday and then this turned up today.

Current running small FFT prime95 @ 166 FSB which is 3.3Ghz. The two 120mm fans I have are temp controlled by the motherboard so it is nice and quiet. Even with benching they haven't got any louder yet which is good.

Got a couple of pics below from my phone of the change of heatsink as I had to take the board out again.

Previously I had removed the rear grate on the extraction fan, so you get a very easy flow of air over the Noctua cooler and straight out the back.

Booted in at 4GHz just now. Took some fiddling with volts but found out it just wasn't enough volts on the chip itself in the end. I did have the vcore at 1.35v, IMC at 1.2v, CPU PLL at 1.90v, mem at 1.65v but it still didn't like it. Just put vcore to 1.40v and went straight in (so far). Left the other volts up as they aren't that much over stock / normal OC settings.

Can't get it stable at 4GHz at the moment. I need to look up and find the max volts that this can take (vcore, IMC, CPU PLL, PCH etc) before going too mad.

I'm planning on getting a 750 and am interested in overclocking it - yet this gave me a bit of worry: http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=3634&p=19
Does the PCIe frequency scale with BCLK? If so, how are we supposed to test for stability - does that mean we've gotta break out 3DMark in order to see if the link to the graphics card is stable or not?

No you can still lock it to 100MHZ

What volts?

Ah that's good. Do you know if this is board-dependent or if they can all do this? Also how are you supposed to reliably test whether the turbo isn't going to crash it or not - run the usual testing but do the old core affinity thing?
