I'm back after my 3hr build haha, took a long time yes, but you try managing the cables for 3 harddrives, 2 graphics card with aftermarket coolers and 7 120mm+ fans.
I've got a few shots but they're mainly crap as my sister needed her camera back so will try to get some better ones tomorrow.
Soundproofing: I couldn't believe this till a second ago, I open the case to have a listen to when I small whine was, for some reason it's the 140mm fan I've got on the side panel, but with that one the same controller (the one provided with the case) it's quiet when at a lower speed along with the 2 Neo Vortexx's. Back to my point, I've opened the case I was astonished at the noise level, fairly loud with the Vortexx's both on full, soon as I put the side panel back on I noticed a massive noise reduction. The harddrive trays do an amazing jobs in reducing the noise and the soundproofing reduces the harddrive clicks to nothing.
Space: Whilst the harddrive area provides a pretty big working area with plenty of room to place cables at the back of, you can't find much in the way of cables between behind the motherboard area and the harddrive area. There is a lip on the edge of the motherboard tray and this causes any wires going between the two areas hard to compress to get the side panel back on.
Fan Noise: All of these fans are deadly silent. The only thing I can hear at the moment is the slight noise of it moving air.
Build Notes:
-Some large CPU coolers may not fit with the top fans installed. There is about a 2mm gap between the fins on my thermalright ultra and top fans but I guess this has also got something to do with the positioning of the cpu slot on the motherboard.
-If you plan on running an Intel 4/8pin motherboard connector from the bottom motherboard cut out, to the very top, do it with no motherboard or fans installed as it can be tricky (I found out the hard way)
-If your graphics card is using an aftermarket cooler, some may not fit with the side fan installed, larger gfx coolers like the Accelero S1 won't fit with a fan installed on the side panel.
I'll add more if I think of any!
But on the whole, very impressed with this case. Build quality is good, sound proofing is very good, cable management is good. Cooling with all fans in position is also pretty good (I didn't test with the stock cooling setup, sorry!). Not any positives as of yet, only thing I can think of is that the finish causes it to be very prone to grease marks.
