It would be quite amusing to see a few of us try the team race on the car and track combo (lap times wont cont though).

If one of us hosts an do a rule that each player, from to working down, can choose a track and car rating.

My settings. Still tweaking to try & get nearer the low 19's or possibly high 18's.
Don't know how some are getting 17's on the NFS Leaderboard though. I just can't see where you can make up that much time bar setting the car up

I've managed to get the car to turn in on corner entry no problem. Corner exit though I was suffering from exit understeer. I've managed to solve that.
In short if you don't like the back end sliding out too much my settings may help you, but some I'm sure, prefer the sliding. You have to be careful on the throttle in 2nd gear though.
T-1 - Drop from 6th to 3rd. Don't take too much curb if at all.
T-2/3 Complex - Up through the gears to 6th. Again, don't take too much curb.
T-4 - Drop to 4th
T-5 (Kink left) - You can snatch 6th but I stay in 5th to avoid unbalancing the car for the next approach T-6.
T-6 - Brake late dropping from 5th to 3rd (Quick double tap on pad). Don't turn too hard, guide the car through the corner. Initially don't FULL throttle on corner entry, feather the throttle & when/if you get the apex right throttle away.
T-7 - Probably the most technical corner on this track to get right consistently. On approach if you had good exit from T-6 you should been able to snatch 5th before the braking zone. Drop from 5th to 3rd. Brake early on this corner to get a good drive round the right curve leading on to the long back straight.
T-8 Chicane - 2nd gear. Brake as late as you dare dropping from 6th gear to 2nd. You can ride quite a bit of the first curb so turn in early as you're coming off the brakes.
T-9/10 - The two hairpins. Take these in 2nd trying not to stray too wide of the apex.

Very different settings to mine Nikaz, i will try these settings in the morning when i finish work.At the moment i am doing 1.19.6s consistanly but unable to match my own time of 1.19.3.It looks like that was my limit unless i find some breakthrough with your settings and 1.17s definately look impossible at the moment.
 
Just be weary I don't like the way AWD cars handle, suppose it doesn't suit my driving style so my settings sort of turn it into RWD in the handling. You guys seem to like the AWD cars handling.
 
Jst had a go with your settings Nikaz - changed everything to what you have except the gearing which I am happy with - I noticed I am hitting 174 in the long straight whereas before I was only just touching 170. I noticed it was a lot more 'slidey' for me than the default settings though - I just whacked the downforce to max & lowered the tyre pressures a bit. The second half of the lap I am quite a bit quicker using your settings but I can't get the first few turns right using your setup just yet - unfortunately I don't think I will get much chance to try again before Saturday now, I think you and Inam will overhaul my time soon.
 
A touch faster - there's definitely more there but don't know if I'm going to have the time to get it. A couple of times I have been 3 or 4 tenths faster than this in the splits only to lose it. Whoever is lapping at 1:17 is doing a hell of a lap.

Nikaz I borrowed a couple of your settings but when I set my suspension up like yours I was just sliding all over the place. At the minute I am using your settings for the limited slip and the visco thing but my tyres are much lower at 27.25 & 29.13 and I have downforce at 20 front & 22 back. The only other thing that differs from the default is the gearing, I have final drive, 1st & 2nd full left, 3rd one click right from full acceleration, 4th & 5th in the middle & 6th same as third.

OK this is definitely my last for this week - I could still go a touch faster - the last corner wasn't my best. This is using the settings posted above.

Thanks - tbh i still don't really understand how the different cars drive, but I won last week with AWD and am doing well this week too, so i guess I like AWD lol. I expect something very different this week, let's wait and see - who's nominating?
