Anyone know how much o2 will be charging to get out of a 12month (£15pm) Simplicity contract?

Only about 3 months into it :(

ring and ask ! last time i cancelled (well paid off) a contract it was with vodafone and they added up all the line rental left , took the VAT off , and then took a bit more off as an 'early payment bonus' . wasnt bad considering i was expecting to be shafted

I've survived on an 8gb with no issues at all for so long, it was never a problem. Think I'll go with the 16gb version, plenty for me and generally it's about £100 less isn't it than the 32gb?

Slightly interesting story:
Had my iPhone up on the bay with a buy it now price. I'm a bit miffed now someone has actually taken me up on the buy it now so I'll be without a phone until the new one comes along, stupid me. :/

I'll second that, if their was an 8Gb if take that. 32Gb is overkill, especially with the price jump.

OK i have decided just to go with O2.

But i have a simple question that my mind doesn't want to answer.

When i go to order it (tonight or when ever) i will select PAYG.
Will i also need to add a simplicity iphone tariff to that before i check out, or will the phone come with a micro sim and then i phone o2 when it arrives and they will make it a simplicity?

Confusing, or not...

Cheers.

Dear O2,

I have been a loyal customer of yours for over 6year now, please can you not sell out of the new iPhone4 until I can purchase one on a £30 a month contract at no more than £250 up front around the 2nd of July.

Thankyou

Question guys... are we expecting pre-ordering to be able to collect at an Apple Store (or carrier of your choice store) or is the pre-ordering going to be for delivery only? (meaning that if you want to buy it retail you'll have to queue with the riff-raff).

Pre-ordering is possible at retail store level as I spoke to someone in a Vodafone store on Sunday about it (and I intend to go in there tomorrow morning at 9am to do so). Not sure if you'll be able to pre-order online for collection in store though.

If you go on the Vodafone links above and choose a tariff the prices come up. And they seem to be the same as the current 3GS prices at Vodafone. So I'm assuming the prices will stay the same for everyone else.

this is what was hinted at as the price with an AT&T tariff in the US was the same as the 3GS was.
