I recall having to disable it then re-enable it and it just worked thereafter!

I also turned everything off in the stock Android SMS app, maybe this also helped.

I just tried it, very impressive especially considering it's still in beta.

Only thing I don't like, is the massive amount of space the tab section at the top takes up. Go to Google, turn your phone landscape aspect, then click the search box...there's literally only room to see one line. Nice and fast though, and seems to handle Flash ok.

Yeah, Dolphin Mini is really impressive for a beta. Was never a fan of Dolphin HD, but this I could quite happily replace the stock browser with.

Also if you hit the menu button you can change it to full screen mode

It's menu then look top right of the menu

You can then change the volume buttons to switch tabs instead so fullscreen browsing is more streamlined.

Ahh! I couldn't see the maximise logo as its transparency blended it in with the browser window I was looking at at the time.

Sorted, thanks guys. The volume button to change tabs or scroll is cool, but then you can't change media volume when you're looking at news video / flash etc.

Dolphin Mini

Regarding this dolphin mini browser...when someone posts an embedded YouTube video the video preview is replaced by a white window with a green arrow. Pressing this shows the YouTube still, after which you have to press again to start the video.

Are there any settings to load flash vid windows straight away or is it stuck this way?

It's stuck that way in the beta, it's a logical way too tbh, this way flash videos don't all initiate at once and only when you click them. Although embedded videos in forum threads might be an issue if the poster just posts the video without a description as you only see the video title when the video loads (when clicked).

It's good in that flash ads etc won't be a problem.

One thing I like particularly is that forum browsing is easier. The stock browser behaved very oddly when pressing the reply button with the phone in landscape mode...the reply field would fly about all over the place and sometimes disappear entirely.
