Google really is great, I just took a picture via Googgles of a cake recipie in the kitchen at work and it OCRd it perfectly and allowed me to translate etc.

Specs do indeed say 1.5GB but I only have 1gb free to use, from what you said it seemed like you had 1.5GB to use. Nvm lol...

Currently trying SwiftKey, seems pretty good actually. Seems a lot easier to lazy type, looks nice too.

Another thing I like about dolphin mini...you can have loads of tabs open at once. The stock browser only allows a max of four windows.

Screen filter is good for galaxy s owners.
Makes the screen go dimmer than usual.

I know it kind of defeats the purpose of the tabs but is there a way of not showing it so I can have browser window in full screen?

Dolphin Mini is brilliant!! I didn't really like the other versions, but this one is great. Very very fast as well.

It needs 2.2 if you're on a Samsung device it says, I think that's why I can't find it either my 2.1 Galaxy S.

I was about to recommend Settings Profile - but i've been having some issues with it lately where it won't properly apply settings (i.e. it won't vibrate when i set my "vibrate" profile). Not sure if the issues are because i'm setting up the profiles wrong, or if it's conflicting with the HTC Sense settings.

In the meantime, i'm going to try some alternatives - namingly:

Chronos, Locale and Tasker

If there's any users of those apps here - lemme know how you're getting on with them!

I also like the gestures in dolphin mini.

I'm sure it's not unique to dolphin, but I'm using the 'go to end / top of page' all the time. Much better than flicking like a mad man until reaching the end.
