Just under MrKrugga's overclocked 5850 which I'm not unhappy with at all, as the 5870m is somewhere between a 5750 and 5770, if I got the clocks closer to the 5770 it'd probably pass the barrier :)
Get smashed by the higher end desktops, but what do you expect from a laptop (DTR):)

Yep :) There's slightly newer stuff on the horizon which is a decent step up, but I didnt pay anywhere near listed price for the machine I've got and it suits my needs fine, tis an absolute beast for something I can lob into a bag and take with me wherever I want. Bit on the chunky side but with good reason!

It would be a good contribution to the thread if you had run at the correct settings. The resolution to run at is 1680x1050 with 4xaa. The reason for this is so we can compare all setups fairly and to include as much users as possible as not all people have resolutions at full hd and above.

All the information needed is in the op.
 
Errrr, no idea what happened here

I forgot to up the voltage before applying the overclock and when Heaven started the display driver stopped responding - i reapplied (with the voltage increase) the overclock (850/2020) in MSIAB and ran the bench

I immediately realised the FPS was WAY high (160 - 170) but teh FPS on my G510 display was more like 90-95 :S

Anyway this is the result:

Obviously its not legit as something went wrong, but it made me giggle :P

I'll try a agin in a few and after more beer ...........

That's a impressive result for any laptop. But the 460s are a fair bit faster than the 5770s. I guess Heaven 2.5 is optimised better for ATI

No. Heaven is more of an nv benchmark as they are geared more towards tesselation power. Its 1xgtx460 almost matching 2x5870m's which are a little slower than a 5770.

Sorry didn't realise, and when I last came on and did this people were doing what resolution/details I have posted. 1680x1050 is too low tbh. I will be back though lol.
