*** Desk and Room Gallery***

The Xbox stand is just a laptop cooler with a small (40mm i think ) Fan in the middle. The only reason i use it is because it lights up Blue and looks quite cool at night. It has no affect at all on the cooling unfortunately :)

Ah that's pretty cool. My 360 is currently just on a wooden shelf in a unit and I'm convinced that half the noise is it making the plank its on vibrate. I was thinking of looking for some sort of stand with rubber feet or similar to see if it made a difference although I guess a laptop cooler could work.

My Office...

Hello all attached is a panoramic picture of my office, it's been a work in progress since we arrived in the uk 2 years ago... Just got done with my i7 960 build in an Antec 1200 with ssd... its under the desk and I used my old antec 300 for a server box to the left of my desk, just to hold my 4 large capacity disks 1.5gb's and 2gb's, the large monitor is the 27" Asus LED. I love this monitor! Any questions just ask! Comments/critiques welcomed!

There is a full rez pic if clicked :)

Slight update on mine. Added a shelf (propped up by books at the moment) so that I could add my midi keyboard and keep the Zero on the same desk. I am selling my Launchpad as I just don't use it at all and I am also getting rid of my netbook so it'll be slightly more compact now. The speakers now sit at virtually the right height so it's much better aurally now.

prob not here, trust ?

edit: sent an email in trust.

No I haven't used the APC 40/20. I barely worked out how to use Ableton, just too fiddly for my liking. I am much preferring Traktor and borrowing my flatmates DDJ-T1 when I want. Has a much more dj feel to it.

It's a work PC rather than a gaming rig. I have to admit I love my screens: 2xDell 2007FP 1600x1200 IPS panels I got on ebay for less than £250 combined, which has been an absolute bargain. It was the only way I could easily accommodate a decent vertical res as 2x24" widescreens would have been too large for the desk with the speakers I have planned.

I know, my cables need tidied!! :p

I also just put pics of my AV and HiFi set-up in the home cinema thread.

Nice guitars there, i use the same wall mounts. TBH though i prefer to use my computer or laptop for my effects - a lot cheaper and i can generally get a wider range of effects.

Saying that id still love to have some decent pedals.

Yeah i've always had a facination with effects pedals ever since i was about 13 years old, I like the aesthetics of being able to manipulate the signal from my guitar. I also like the portablilty of them, however I wish that i could take advantage of saving presets as you could on say, a laptop. I love having my guitars wall mounted, i think it looks smart with the halogen light shining on it. Plus the easy access it provides :) My favorite pedal is my Boss DD-6 Digital Delay... so much fun and adds so much breadth to my sound.
