Yeah! premier league style is very good. But would be A LOT more work for you ;) i've no idea even if you can set chip stacks either. I think it would definitely be interesting to try though.


@Kristoph - Dont get me wrong btw, im not some high stakes roller just trying to think the hand out as im learning too.

What are you representing on the turn bet of $1? Its so small compared to the pot (and smaller than the flop bet - i assume its some form of probe bet but its too small?). If the Villain was a decent player he'd have to check raise you every time with a draw or a made hand. Just smells of weakness all over, unless you had a 10.

(assuming the villain wasnt this guy) What do you do, if villain flats your $1 turn bet then bets pot / over bet shove on river. I guess you can only call if you put him on a fd or some raggedy AX or AJ

Anyways Villain has clearly watched too much TV poker lol - good find for you :)

Ok We are back up and running. There is a game tonight - 11th Sept at 20:30, usual rules apply. Do note that the league has finished and the points for the next 12 weeks will go towards world ranking points. See my first post regarding this.

I got a little bored towards the end in honesty, 2+ hours for 18 starters is a bit harsh! Made some bad calls just for the sake of it.. and then got shagged by BV calling my min raise with AA with his 42o and then turning a full house.. jammy git.. probably shouldnt have tried to trap but you never know.. :)

3rds not bad though eh! ;D
 
The cards were just coming at me heh.. I was hitting everything and then right on the last 5-6 of us.. I was getting **** but I didnt want to just bet good hands, as ya do.. got caught a couple of times :(
