ah your a star.

Re the Google search bar, sorry what i meant was that mine currently looks like a box with Google on one side and a mic on the other. Yours simply has a line plus 2 icons?

I also have a Nexus so would like to get the same if poss.

BTW im lovin Android so far....kills iOS5

Yeah the search bar is like that when in normal use.

It's only in landscape and when connected to MHL that uses the icons. Hopefully a future update will allow that as an option, although I'm sure some ROMs are already on the way to doing that.

Received my £9 ebay MHL adapter today.

Here's me using it:

.....

Good value imo, works well and doesn't look or feel too cheap.

Very impressed by your video.

I have now purchased an adapter, bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

I'm going to try and get as much out of my phone as possible. I wish this was wireless. I'd absolutely love it if we were able to replicate this without cables.

Thanks for the demo!

Another question and a probable impossible one - I'm getting an iPad 2 (from work. Not my choice!). Now, would it be possible to somehow stream my SGN's desktop to the iPad?

Just arrived from Germany, my Nappa/Suede leather pouch:

Good fit and beautifully soft. It’s also got a 24 month warranty.

The Google search bar defaults to the left hand side when plugged into the MHL adapter. In normal use you can not presently get rid of the search bar, but you can when rooted and use custom ROMs.

Found out how to remove the google seach bar widget.

settings>apps>all>google search>disable

But you can't use the space for anything else as it's used to remove apps/widgets.

How do you get it back as it disappears from the apps list. Not sure I like it not being there as it looks a bit bare at the top now.
