Dark Soul's: Prepare to Die Edition (PC)

the only worry i have is backing up game save data with a gfwl game.
Thats fine as long as you use the same gamertag you saved the game with it will always work with a simple copy/paste. Almost every GFWL game released in the last 2 years has had copyable saves anyway.

Do they have any gameplay videos of DS on PC? I'm not quite giving up all hope yet! :D

End of the day, so long as it looks AS good and runs AS well as it does on Xbox, despite the fact its nowhere near a PC quality, the games just too damn good to not experience or own.

I think it'll have a GTA IV effect, a game thats too damn good to hate but doesn't perform on its platform as well as it should.

that has made my day :D i will be picking this up day of release now.
I remember importing the demons souls honk kong edition for ps3 and when my ps3 went pop i had to start all over again, due to it being a protected game save you could not back up:(
so i thought something similar could happen with dark souls on pc glad this is not the case.

With me having the limited edition on the ps3 the art book did contain some characters out of the added areas that will be in the pc version and future console dlc.
cannot wait to get stuck in to be honest i played it 300+ so far on console and got up to NG+++ :)

Can't wait, although I had to stop after 10 seconds. I want to play that whole new content myself without seeing it first :D
Not long to go I reckon the retail copies will ship next tues/wed due to the upcoming bank holiday ;)

PS: Morrisons are selling Dirt3 & Viva Pinata retail DVD's with GFWL cheap right now ;)

Overclocker's sell Viva Pinata for like a quid iirc.

Why can't they do a quick demo of the PC version in intensive areas? I don't wanna see new content like somebody else pointed out. They are brand new areas so obviously they will be better made than vanilla, I wanna see how it performs in vanilla. :p

If your buying the retail this is the best place to get it from they also offer a £5 refund if you do not receive on release day & its not due to a Royal Mail delay! All versions use GFWL + ZDPP (ZDPP=release date checker/decrypter) so the retail will be the first version to activate as digital on Steam are locked until the usual 6PM GMT. GFWL + ZDPP unlocks usually @ 12.01AM GMT ;) some already have theirs which are installed & waiting to unlock/decrypt online on release day.

It's a GMT midnight release on all Steam versions (Steam direct, GMG. GGate) in this case.
