Gonna put down my bets on what it is..
Sneaky feeling this new hardware will be something to do with enabling your games on any TV in the house.. As long as your using an Nvidia GPU. Kind of like how Vita TV works for PS4. This will be Nvidia's version.
If not that ^^, some kind of Nvidia / Steam box partnership. Maybe show some upcoming hardware.. Anything to get the attention away from AMD's incoming GPU's.

Maybe the rumors of AMD's Hawaii GPU being faster than the Titan was to much for him to handle?.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Steam Box has a Nvidia GPU.

If its a tablet with gaming controls instead of touch controls for gaming with their targra 3 (or whatever) processor and was affordable. Then that could be canny i guess. Would be great as a portable emulation system
