Project: mit kleinem Formfaktor

So got home to this after dropping my wife off at work:

Package consisted off replacement acrylic to doubel layer the top of the case & a replacement side panel which got scratched while cleaning.

As you can see, the top layer has a bezel which will make it look neater once it's all put together.

I had previously purchased some DemciFlex dust filters which I intended to use on the top and front of my case. Unfortunately, the fans didn't sit flat once the filter was fitted. I experimented and cut out the filter to sandwich it between the 2 front layers, this worked beautifully. Intending to do the same on the top, I have cut the remaining 2 filters for this purpose.

This just shows you the bezel against the 2 top layers

So there we have it. I may make some adjustments like adding some Zaward G3s to the H100i at the front for aesthetic purposes, but I think I'm done - unless I decide on a custom loop!!

looking good Snips86x, was down at parvum myself today as picked up a new tinted panel, there as busy as ever, but seeing that top panel i might just order that aswell. :)

Thanks Paul!

I think is looks much better having the double top, matches the front & back. How is your tinted panel working out for you?

I've managed to get a 2nd g/card from a mate who is breaking down him mining gear, he has let me borrow anther 7970 for a while, so I'm going to experiment with crossfire.

I'm not anticipating any success as they will be sandwiched, but my front case fans shift 95CFM, so I'm hoping this will make some difference with the temp.

I would love to do a custom loop, but the cost of WC'ing for me any time soon is a no no.

yes the tint is def worth getting, seems to make the parts stand out more, yes im getting my waterloop together at the moment, its costing about £475 with everything and a few extra angled fittings in case i need, :D

I'm going to try and get my parts from the MM to save on money. Unsure what I will buy new, I guess I'll found out when it comes round to it.

£475 sounds about right! What colour coolant you going for? I was going to go for red, but my wife said red would be too much, where as clear would look better!

yes I've followed all of them so far. that's what made me want to try to build a system in a parvum case.
it'll be another couple of months before he gives me his budget and what he wants so it'll give me more time to read all your build logs haha

yes i went all out and done me own sleeving with MDPC which was good to learn, and have since done a extension set for a friend, trouble is its right what they say, that as soon as you build your own you always want to tinker more with it.:D

They are soon to release an ITX version too!

Like it. Especially the sleeving.

Thanks. I went with the telios sleeving as it's got a slightly plastic texture to it. It also doesn't attract dust like the Bitfenix Alchemy extensions do.
