The GTX Titan X owners thread.

i think i'm gonna risk it and install the evga aio cooler onto my titan x.

Hopefully it should be ok. Seems like a simple task to install.

Don't forget to put the screws of the stock cooler back into the cooler, that way they won't get lost should you need to reattach the cooler (e.g. for RMA or selling the card).

in the roll of honour how come fat lenny is the only one with the OcUK version of the titan X???

is there something wrong with the ocuk version..thought they were all the same

what scares u about buyng an ocuk version??

I was wondering lol

I am more than happy with the OCUK cards.

I have put ek full blocks on with back plates with a bridge and put on the SC bios.

There is something I dont understand in that since I have put the SC bios on my temps have dropped about 8 - 10 when gaming. I expected the heat to rise a bit.

After two hours on Battlefield Hardline at High settings with a resolution of
7680 x 1440 with gsync on the max temp was 52 for the middle card and 50 for the other cards.

Not really, here are mine running Watch Dogs maxed @2160p.

Check the memory usage.:D

Do I really want to try and run games at these settings on 8gb 390Xs ?

Well considering 8 gigs is 8192mb then yes you would :)

I don't think I would have any trouble going beyond what is shown in my previous post, that was after just 10 mins.:D

I have also used more than 8gb in other things but the pic above is one I just had handy.

To run Watch Dogs @2160p maxed on the 390X you would need 4 of them, would you really want to take the chance buying 4 x 8gb cards knowing you are right on the edge of what the card was capable of memory wise ?

Anyone daft enough to run WD maxed @4k would go for 12gb cards to be on the safe side.:)

We dont know how the new type of ram on the 390x will work when it runs over its limit, for all we know its fast enough to ensure smooth gameplay.:)
