Depends on how quickly you want it m8, but that's def a good plan if you want it earlier

Yeah I hope so, cancelled my EVGA order which never got dispatched but I've never heard of a company refunding you credit notes.

As you say you never received the goods as you cancelled before it reached your house so your entitled to your money back and not a credit note.

Framerates at 4k are approx the same as my old 970 SLI but it feels so much better, it had awful stuttering before that didn't really show up in benchmark scores but just felt terrible.

Oh yes, 970 SLI is fast but that weak memory bus it relies on can really hold it back when you push high resolutions.

I have always said the 970/980 are not really suited for use with 4K monitors a much better option would be Titan X , 980Ti, 290X and the Fury when it comes out.

First post! I've been lurking this forum for a while now but only just decided to register.

I've ordered my GTX 980Ti SC+ the day they were released but I'm also part of the massive group waiting for mine! Been getting jealous of all the posters in this thread with theirs!

It's funny. I woke up to find they released one, wasn't interested before work, read a few reviews, saw the 1440p benchmarks and bought one as soon as I got home

I hope my EVGA 980 Ti ACX gets shipped today! Now I am thinking about a new screen. 1080p just seems a waste for this card. I think I am going to skip 4K for a few years. Don't want 4k with everything on medium to low, and as games get more demanding, it will only get harder. 1440p is realistic yeah?

I'm very jealous. Do you know of any benchmarks kicking about? I haven't been able to find any for the SX/ACX cards. Admittedly I haven't searched that hard in recent days.

I'm really looking forward to getting it though. My 780 has started to 'struggle' at 1440p so will be nice to get something which can actually play that resolution comfortably.

I'm in no rush to get it though. I'm about to do a bit of sacrilege in saying this but I'm having too much fun playing Destiny on my PS4 currently

Indeed it is. I've spent 300 hours on that game and can still play for all that time again. I just need Bungie to say at E3 that it'll come to PC and I'll happily buy it all again

Man I quite like you, you're not offensive (not that I've seen anyway), you don't seem to be much of a fan boy and normally you come across as a nice guy.

Saying all that I still hope your card doesn't come today just so I can see you explode

Also if it makes you feel any better I've had my card for a week but because of travel and stuff I haven't been able to install it yet

There's a fair few kicking about now , split between written and YouTube . All praise it highly

I just looked on the EVGA site for the SC+ card.

I don't see a clock speed difference between it and normal SC one. What's up with it?
