Exactly the same driver version AFAIK.

AFAIK driver version means nothing. I think even DLLs can be the same version yet different. At least from what I've seen on Guru3D.

I changed from that to 15.6 as it claimed to be the batman driver, one person who hadn't updated drivers said batman was horrible and choppy to play.

You wouldn't happen to know if I could just rip the dll's from 15.6 and keep them on my current 1040? Every other game so far runs so damn well on this 1040 driver I don't want to risk losing that LOL.

I haven't got a clue

I don't look into it, I just download the latest and greatest (or not in some cases!)

Give it a go with 1040 and then add them, see what happens and then if it goes boom out 15.6 on

15.6 drivers out for 200 series and below cards?

Different drivers for 300 series cards out?

Is this how its gona be now to keep the 300 cards looking good?

I really hope this isnt the direction drivers are going

Don't worry, we have great fellas like asder who modify the "300" driver for us. We'll still reap the benefits, just not OFFICIALLY which is pathetic but oh well haha

LOL!!!!! So I just browsed the green teams release driver thread on another large forum such as this and it is loaaaaded with complaints. All I see is "never again!" "screw you nvidia" etc..

Sorry, just thought it was hilarious that as it really doesn't matter what side you're on you will have issues. overall I'm pretty happy here on the red team.

Yeah asder00 is a legend for his modded drivers, and trusted too

Im sure he'll be modding the new Batman 300 drivers if asked.

Though after having a glance in the Nvidia driver thread it seems a lot of Nvidia users are having a nightmare with drivers.

Example..

I'd much rather use AMD drivers that only update every 3 months or so over Nvidias constant barrage of degrading drivers on new hardware.

Our 1 man driver team isnt doing too bad hey

Hey, no issues here! Never ever had a driver issue with AMD. I'd happily buy again, please stop with the green team stuff, you are scaring me! i just want my nvidia card to work haha

LOL! I love my red beasts too! I have a 780ti Kingpin though that I keep upstairs for my 1080p lay in bed gaming rig hahaha so I do get to experience both and it just blows my mind how upset people get in here and then to see the EXACT same responses from the green side as well

Dunno Shanks but i unistalled 15.5 to install 15.6 and this is what i got...

Only thing changed is probably the two dll's... like a CAP file.

Definitely add the 15.6 dll or use the 15.6 driver for batman. Big difference
