IMPORTANT NOTE: Catalyst 15.6 Beta DOES NOT support the new AMD Radeon Fury X, Radeon R9 300 Series, and Radeon R 7 300 Series graphics cards. For the Catalyst driver supporting the R9 300 and R7 300 series products, go to: http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMD-Radeon-300-Series.aspx. The driver package has been updated with Batman: Arkham Knight optimisations.

Is something up with the latest betas? Or am I missing something? Used the Drive Sweeper program in safe mode and installed the 15.6 drivers. Previously during installation the screen would flicker and settle back at maximum resolution by the end of the installation. It doesn't do any of that and when I restart there's no sign of the installed driver other than the Gaming Evolved app.

Thanks humbug, I thought I was losing it. Sure is an 290, so it's safe to install just the driver from 15.5 over 15.6 BETA?

So how long is this gona go on for? When are we gona get ONE driver for ALL?

Like i said earlier in this thread, seperate drivers for 300 series and 200 series/below isnt gona go down well if the likes of 15.20.1040.. have to be modded every time. Holding back performance on 200 series/below through drivers to try and make the 300 series look better?

(In the 3DMark DX11 API test i have an approx 30% perf increase going from 15.4 > 15.20.1040.. on my 7950)

I really hope AMD dont try this one.

ONE driver for ALL cards man.

Yup it is ****ing pathetic.

PC gaming in general is just a ****ing joke now

- crap ports that run like ****, locked to 30 fps, crash etc.
- being locked down to certain gpu brand because of things like gameworks, free/g sync
- etailers/manufacturers taking the **** with pricing
- awful QC in general especially for monitors
- nvidia and amd doing a **** job with drivers
- games getting downgraded in the graphics department
- day 1 dlc

etc. etc.

Can't get these to install. The installer goes through the motions but when it's done Device manager is showing the default windows driver and CCC won't open, it just gives this error

Edit - just read back a couple of pages and seems a few of you get the same thing.

don't think you can blame AMD for this one. Look at the problems people are having, it's getting really bad reviews. The performance is terrible no matter what card you have.

Ah well least I can start witcher 3 and wait for this to be payable. Oh wait.....

Fallout 4 better work on launch.
