Thanks, I'll monitor the tdp sensor in gpu-z then, currently 68% max during heaven bench so presume i have plenty of room to go up

Can someone explain to me a bit AB? Power limit set to 110%, stock volts, trying different speeds.

During gaming my temps are <80C
GPU1 power % gets to max 105
GPU1 power limit spikes to 1 and then drivers crash.

Is "GPU1 power limit" at 1 shows that I run out of power? If yes then is "GPU1 power %" not accurate? (because only showing 105)?

Yes the number 1 means you have hit the power limit. With AB you need to remember it doesn't update every split second unless you change it in the settings . I think default is 5000ms try setting it to 500ms. It's in the monitoring tab under hardware polling.

Thanks, it's a bit weird that even at stock volts and 1418-1430MHz I can hit the limit:/

Try turning on all the limit monitors in AB as you may find it's not the power limit your hitting.

Oh man! With the prices of these cards getting lower and lower, I really really want a 3rd one. The urge to not upgrade is getting so hard.

These are becoming such good value. I'm just worried my 1000W PSU won't cope with 3, and that Pascal will decimate them next year.

Pascal will destroy the price. Just look at the price of 2nd hand 780ti's now.

I hate waiting, as I want it now but it really does make sense to wait this time. Such a big difference in performance and tech coming soon.

I'm the same, which is why I have a Gigabyte G1 980ti waiting to be unboxed when I get home tomorrow.

Nice, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. It feels great to be able to max all games at 1440p and not worry about dips below 60 for once.

Can i ask which versions would people opt for from the 980Ti range so far? Seems the G1 and EVGA hybrid are top choices but i would like to hear what people think! With overclocking in mind also! I'm looking at 980Ti which runs cool and overclocks well!
