They will have grown up by then.

They know no difference than living under EU rule.

Maybe they are all hyper intelligent and know what is best for the country, maybe it is better the devil they know rather than the devil they don't know.

To be honest I have heard some really compelling arguments from the youngsters and their concerns about a Brexit.

I have also heard some really ridiculous arguments like "I am voting to stay as I am worried about my Ibiza/Magaluf holiday price rocketing".

The classic was "I wish we would join the Euro, it would save so much time if I didn't have to change my currency, I don't really understand exchange rates either. Why don't they make a Euro worth a pound?"

Worrying thing these are account managers of some pretty big companies, not uneducated.

If people tried to register within the defined time period, and the government ballsed up, they should still be allowed to register. If this was the other way around and the people trying to register were likely to be majority leave voters, you wouldn't be complaining at all.

Regardless of what way this referendum goes, it should be democratically fair. If you don't believe that then you don't deserve to vote.

Yup, there we go. A few hours of downtime results in a 48h extension.

For all those saying "it's the young"

According to the government's data website, 525,000 people applied to register to vote during the day - 170,000 were aged 25 to 34, 132,000 under the age of 25 and 100,000 aged 35 to 44.

It also shows that the peak users came at 22:15 BST when 50,711 people were using the service at the same time. There were 26,000 people on the site at 23:55 BST and 20,416 people using the site at 12:01 BST, just after the deadline.

Only a third of those who registered on the last day were under 25.

42% were 35 or older.

Was hardly a last minute rush of teenagers as some on here are implying.

Britain desperately needs to be free and in charge of its own destiny again. Ever since we joined the poisonous European Union we have been on a never ending slide into oblivion. Lets face it, the prospect of Britain floating free scares our enemies, both at home and abroad, but the possibility that we might form something better with our friends utterly terrifies them. There are countries with whom we share culture, history and blood. Imagine how strong a true union of Britain, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand would be; who knows maybe Scandinavia and the Netherlands would join as well. We do not need to be part of the undemocratic EU in order to build something wonderful! Such a move would seriously wound the EU and put us smack bang in the middle of the three largest trading blocks. We have never been truly happy since our leaders abandoned our brothers in favor of the EU; we need to reestablish our historical bonds before they vanish forever.

Cameron is a traitor and a coward !!! VOTE OUT !!!!!!

Vote UKIP:)

Nice copy & paste segments from the BNP website there.

Leave nudges ahead in the polls, cue cheating by the remain side. The whole process is completely unfair to begin with, now even with every advantage on their side they still have to cheat.

It's a fix.

Well done you found an old BNP article:rolleyes: that has similar wording. My opinion is still valid.

No, you directly lifted large segments.

So tell me why Cameron is a traitor? He hardly put us into the EU? The majority of MP's also want us to remain in, are they all 'traitors'?

The only real traitor in the public eye over all of this is Boris, who in reality does not actually want us to leave the EU. You do know he is only fronting the Brexit campaign to further his own political career?
