**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

What's your core clock during idle please?

1227 with 372.70. With 372.54 was 202 and had to set the monitor to 120hz or else I had very bad flickering on desktop (only) when the monitor was set at native 144hz.

Also the Boost 3.0 curve operates differently with 372.70 on MSI AB. It doesn't jump 12 points at between +226 (2177 core) and +227 (2189), but only 1 (2178).

Exactly the same situation here.

Thanks Panos. :)

Just got myself the EVGA 1070, which driver version should I use?

You are going to have to try a few as I did. The latest made me think that my card was broken giving graphics corruption. It was only after I tried my other card which is a 960 that I realized it was the driver.

Sorry for giving msi a bad rap. :o

Yeah i have the silly 144hz desktop corruption/flicker issue they said was fixed a few drivers ago but isnt (goes away by switching to 120hz and back to 144hz). Otherwise everything seems to run fine on the latest game ready driver.

It requires an account/login - pain in the rear.

EDIT: Seems like a step backwards in every way to me - gonna roll back GeForce Experience as the last version on 2 is way way better.

At least they still haven't delivered on the threat from a year ago that future Game Ready drivers would be locked behind GFE and an Nvidia account. I guess the backlash changed their mind. As long as that remains the case, and as long as GFE remains a checkbox I can deselect in the installer, they can do what they like with it.

Ah yes, that's what it was.

Don't use it myself, so no biggie.
